If you like what you see, perhaps you might wishlist it?
It would help the developer out.

You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

I think it's shaping up pretty well. Just last week the dev said he's changing how combat works to be more engaging. TBH, when I first saw the jrpg style battles I was a little underwhelmed, too.

I'm a little surprised there's not more information about working with another developer now, either on Steam or on his Discord. As much as both of them say it will only change for the better, there are bound to be places where they disagree so I wonder how that will be handled.

I wish him well.

Finally, some good ******* animations.

The entire sprite shouldn't bounce, each part should be animated separately.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Hmm, depends how good the writing is. Premade is fine, if good.

Better than fine; I think it has the highest potential, but it requires a lot more effort (dev time) than personalityless custom party members.

Here are a few screenshots of discussions he's had about how he thinks character and party creation should work and design philosophy of the game in general. It mostly sounds right on.

Here's some test footage of the first dungeon tileset and character sprites.

I love the party interaction here, by the way. It reminds me of the personality traits in RoA.

Hopefully, never. But, I guess there are never any guarantees with the way Steam patches games. It could be out for a decade and then suddenly, "***** RIGHTS update" rolls in.
