- Dark Elves have dark skin literally thanks to a curse launched by Azura.
- Bretons start the game with 50 INTs and Redguards with 30. Redguard is clearly based in Africans and Bretons in Europeans.
- In Mages Guild, there isn't a single Redguard, but among Thieves, their leader is a Redguard and redguards are very common in Fighters and Thieves guild.
- Despite having lots of females in low and mid ranks of mages guild, all higher ups are males.
- God's Fire/God's Frost, the strongest non-custom destruction spell, is so mana expensive that no redguard could cast it with his base magic, some magic in the game are only accessible(without items to boost mag) to Bretons and High elves.
- There is a powerful mage in Telvanni House who cloned himself into female daughters and uses his daughters as concubines and "brides.".
- The rival of the mages guild, the house Telvanni, builds towers with no accessible way to reach their quarters without a spell (or potion) of levitation, as they don't want to be bothered by lowly people that can't cast this spell. They literally see themselves above everyone else.
- They also practice slavery.
- One of their quests involves quelling a slave rebellion.
- Everyone is very racist in the game lore and game dialogs. Even Bretons who have the most individualistic culture don't like when non bretons are in position of power in Daggerfall.
- Drow seems to dislike every foreigner, including another Drow. Using their "n word"(n'wah) against any non native Drow.
Nowadays, no chief diversity officer with 300k/y wage would allow someone to make a game like this.
