I am really ******* bored
I am really ******* bored
I've been stuck for a while in a remote place, i've had enough free time to play and replay everything i ever wanted so many times that i am sick of it.
The online games that i used to like where i could kill time and get any human interaciton were all ruined into the ground by developers in the past few years - payday 2, r6 siege (was **** back then too actually now that i think about it), tarkov, etc. These days i just rot away by watching morons on youtube talking as my pass-time "entertainment".
So anyway, i want someone to hang-out with in online, someone who'll show me games they like that we can play together, chat and all that other crap.
DM me if interested.

I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

He's Slavic, there's no "maybe".
I would be depressed if i had to live in yurop, but no, i just have no idea what to do anymore or rather where to find either inspiration to do something or friends who will get me involved in things.
I had a few buddies in high school to chat/share memes/play something, they all got sucked into real life and now forever offline, good for them, but now i am just confused as to what am i supposed to do. Being adult in general is just weird.

(...should I tell him?)
It's kind of a meme at this point, average nafoids will always get angry and rush to correct whoever said that this country is part of Europe, saying that it isn't. The correction is wrong of course, by technicalities and geography, but seeing how bad it is in EU countries i do want to agree with them, just not for the same reasons they think or provide.

Bullying teenagers and numales for having high pitched voices in online competitive shooter games is all you need hyperborean man. RETVRN.
Spending all your time playing games will just make the ‘bored’ issue a lot worse tbh. Why not look at some real life changes you can make whether it’s related to ur career or how you spend your spare time. It will be better for you in the long run.J-12 wrote: ↑ August 15th, 2024, 18:31I would be depressed if i had to live in yurop, but no, i just have no idea what to do anymore or rather where to find either inspiration to do something or friends who will get me involved in things.

********, stop playing **** games that you don't even like. I've been playing games all my life and was never bored except when I forced myself to play games I found to be utter **** and boring.

You stated how your mates moved onto real life stuff and you are left confused as to what you are supposed to do, and that you are lacking in inspiration and you find your life as an adult a bit odd right now:J-12 wrote: ↑ August 15th, 2024, 23:14What does that even mean?StudiedAsleep wrote: ↑ August 15th, 2024, 21:53Why not look at some real life changes you can make whether it’s related to ur career or how you spend your spare time. So why not consider setting some goals for your adult life if you haven't yet, as opposed to sinking deeper into video games? Didn't mean anything negative just thought it was an idea that could helpJ-12 wrote: ↑ August 15th, 2024, 18:31I would be depressed if i had to live in yurop, but no, i just have no idea what to do anymore or rather where to find either inspiration to do something or friends who will get me involved in things.

The people here always mention the games they're playing in the web chat like elder scrolls online and alien swam or smthJ-12 wrote: ↑ August 15th, 2024, 01:28So anyway, i want someone to hang-out with in online, someone who'll show me games they like that we can play together, chat and all that other crap.

Video games are one of the best things you as a man could be doing with your free time nowadays. It's also cheap compared to the alternatives. What else is there to do? Go golfing in 100F heat? Eating out at expensive restaurants or visiting wineries? Getting fat and liver poisoning drinking at bars? I guess you could go handgun shooting, if you have the money to be buying $40 boxes of ammunition. Or gliding, though that's also a little expensive too and would set you back further from being able to achieve home ownership.StudiedAsleep wrote: ↑ August 15th, 2024, 23:52You stated how your mates moved onto real life stuff and you are left confused as to what you are supposed to do, and that you find your life as an adult a bit odd right now:
Get some Adventurer's Guild badges under your belt and you'll feel better
Sure it is fun but he said he is lacking in inspiration, and video games won't help. Going to the movies, eating out, and grabbing the odd drink occasionally is really nice and relaxing even if you do it by yourself.Val the Moofia Boss wrote: ↑ August 15th, 2024, 23:58Video games are one of the best things you as a man could be doing with your free time nowadays. Anything that can provide some motivation and inspiration, thts why I mentioned about a career change or something. I just know the feeling of having nothing else to do and its awful so thought my ideas could help idkWhat else is there to do?

Well it can make some people board cos it messes with your dopamine receptors to the point you find everything else boring. Take a week or two off playing video games I guarantee you will feel a million times better. I try to limit my time spent playing games to 1-2 max in the evenings, and preferably not everyday of the week, and it helps a tonne plus I end up being so much more productiveFinarfin wrote: ↑ August 15th, 2024, 22:02Yes Goy, only work, work, work, you gotta make money so that we can import more ******* and muslims so that we ruin your life while you slave away.StudiedAsleep wrote: ↑ August 15th, 2024, 21:53Spending all your time playing games will just make the ‘bored’ issue a lot worse tbh. I see, i should've probably worded it some other way. No, the job and future don't look bleak at all for me. I know it's usually the other way around, but i just don't get it what the other adults do with their free time to entertain themselves on regular basis that they can say it doesn't make them sick. I asked some, the answers generally are either one of these three categories:
1. Stay at home and watch tv/internet/play videogames.
2. Do some creative hobbies.
3. Go out and spend time in some reeking of nicotine bars, getting wasted with overpriced beer.
The first one is easy option, the second is only for creative people (not me), and the last one just completely eludes me.
Anyway, i don't mind the time at home, it just that alone-time really sucks, would be cool to find someone to hang out with in dc/vc from time to time and play some videogames, talk about stuff and all, hence this thread.

This is what i've been talking about, the options are really limited. Well i guess there's also drugs, but that's for morons.

I'm a socially stunted **** so voice chat in everything other than my native tongue is too much for me, but text-wise I am very active and am always open for chats.J-12 wrote: ↑ August 16th, 2024, 00:19I see, i should've probably worded it some other way. Got a bunch of hobbies, but the "problem" with them is, that they are all more inside. Meaning I paint my miniatures, play games, translate games and ****, listen to music, read books and manga. I'm an old hermit stuck in an age where most young people **** around, get drunk. Women my age are travelling all over while I am travelling in videogames (Besides, I can't afford to travel around the world, since I have no money and my mom would be sad about me not being there.)
Now that I think about it. Would anyone really care if I am gone? Probably not, my family though. No one depends on me.

At that stage many get back to what they liked as kids. Guess for many here obviously games, but that's also why you see stuff like Lego these days exclusively being created for 30+ year olds or that whole trading card boom over the past few years. Now is the time you can actually do things you could not afford as a kid.J-12 wrote: ↑ August 16th, 2024, 00:19I see, i should've probably worded it some other way. But would it be really smart thing to do to fall for nostalgia-bait from the companies? Of course there are worse ways to spend time and money out there, but there's also better ones too.

Before sitting depressed at home I'd rather throw money at games or LEGO (or by now many much better, much cheaper alternatives) if I am not financially struggling anyway...Don't need to go fully overboardJ-12 wrote: ↑ August 16th, 2024, 01:12But would it be really smart thing to do to fall for nostalgia-bait from the companies? I mean you don't need to fall for nostalgia-bait from **** companies. Look around you, there are millions and millions of games, there has to be something that is genuine and some you personally like.J-12 wrote: ↑ August 16th, 2024, 01:12But would it be really smart thing to do to fall for nostalgia-bait from the companies? Maybe try to get into this game, Eden is a freeshard so no monthly pay or mtx there. High learning curve tho and the guy in the video has very high realm rank vs a few low ranks and badly geared/bad players if he kills like 3-5 alone.
