These ******* idiots are so stupid that they don't realise it's not about the word, it's about the meaning.
"Crazy" people are called "crazy", "nut", and "loon", that's the word used to refer to them.
Become successful at COMPLETELY changing that to "wild" and "Bozo" and guess what, the words used to refer to the SAME people in the SAME mental state are now "wild" and "bozo". So those words are now equally as "problematic" as the previous ones.

Don't you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed, will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten. Already, in the Eleventh Edition, we're not far from that point. But the process will still be continuing long after you and I are dead. Every year fewer and fewer words, and the range of consciousness always a little smaller. Even now, of course, there's no reason or excuse for committing thoughtcrime. The site seems to collect and repost popular Twitter threads. Stuff like this is a common thing on the japweb; there are sites that do the same thing with 2ch threads.

The tweets are talking about the way English localizers do whatever they want in localization: completely rewriting lines, changing character personalities and names, inserting dumb jokes, and all the other sorts of things documented in this thread. The author says he visits English speaking boards sometimes and proceeds to repost images found in common anti-localizer threads from English boards. He complains about the way normal dialogue gets translated into faux Old (Middle) English and how fans praise the literary style without realizing it's both full of errors and an unfaithful translation.
