Still a few dollars more than it is worth IMO.

Was following one of Tectone's streams and he linked of this game that has a Demo downloadable now on Steam for some fest or whatnot that is there called Once Human
I am not sure about this game as I wasn't looking at the character creator when he started to play to check for any gender or "body type" idiocy, but thought I'd share in case anyone is interested, also no idea how long the Demo will last, and personally, though I might try it to recommend it or not to a guy I know that might enjoy it, it looks a bit clunky to me so far.
It says it is an online MMO with PVP and cooperation, but, as this is a Demo, I don't take anything in it to be an indicator to how the game will be in the end, as it is most likely only ad and so everything is made to be its best (especially because it lists it will have in-game purchases, and who knows what the final result, that will be out on July 9th, will be like).
Thank you for existing!

It's nice so far. No Body Type 1 and 2. Women actually look good. Gameplay is a bit "heavier" regarding movement but it's standard survival with materials, building and loot. It also has PVE only servers, so that is a major plus for me. Will be on the lookout when it's out July 9th.

It looks really cool, wonder what the story is behind this game seeing as you mentioned a lawsuit. Will read up on this, thank you for sharing!

While I like how it looks and plays, I just hate extraction games where some sweatlords can come and ruin your dungeon run.

can be a bit rough with the sweatlords but you spend most of the time doing pve anyway, it's good fun with a couple of matesFinarfin wrote: ↑ June 12th, 2024, 09:47While I like how it looks and plays, I just hate extraction games where some sweatlords can come and ruin your dungeon run.
even when you're solo you can encounter friendly randos too, a lot of the time people crouch up and down and do the 'surrender' emote to indicate they're chill, even had some geared up high level skellyboi show me to some loot and work together n ****

You were ******* right. Got invited by a lizard barbarian and a elf mage both lvl 40 and 60, they gave me helmets, gauntlets and boots and an ancient scroll. (I also have convinced two of my pathfinder party members to play it)Manny V wrote: ↑ June 12th, 2024, 12:50yeah they got accused of stealing assets or some **** and got dragged through the mud but it ended up being dismissedDagothGeas5 wrote: ↑ June 12th, 2024, 09:30It looks really cool, wonder what the story is behind this game seeing as you mentioned a lawsuit. Amongst many others, it includes the following series: Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Might & Magic, Ultima, The Legend of Heroes, System Shock, Turok, Rayman, Deus Ex, Witcher, King's Bounty.
Saw otherwise Anachronox, Challenge of the Five Realms, Omnikron and other single games reduced in price.
Personal recommendation while not being a RPG, if anyone is interested in Hunting: Way of the Hunter.

Good comment on the Steam page:
I may start using "your mad cause bad" now.game is so fun i hunt and this game brings me way back when i was 10 love the game and should to its not cod its a vary slow and real game if you dont like it your mad cause bad
It really is not so easy. theHunter: Call of the Wild felt like a stealth game at times. Very good idea of them to have sound volume of footsteps and other actions affect the animal behaviour. As I bought Way of the Hunter this sale, but checked it via videos, it does have similarities. If an animal in a herd is hurt, they panic and run away.Nemesis wrote: ↑ June 21st, 2024, 15:00Good comment on the Steam page:

There is also paying attention to the surroundings, if there are trails left, any animal sounds, what items to use, using binoculars. Can't shout your way through the game like in CoD for sure. Reminds me, a mildly big content creator from YT who mainly plays Call of the Wild called Way of the Hunter too hard.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.

This is actually pretty fun, I'm not a fan of diablo-likes, enjoyed the unique "party" system — you have multiple characters sharing (essentially) a body.

I loathed the sequel. First game was mid, as the kids say, but the sequel really drops the ball hard narratively.
Gameplay-wise, it's a more polished version of the first one, with new enemies, gadgets and ways to navigate the environment, though the dumb "level up by doing" system does more harm than good, since it encourages you to munchkin encounters to gain points in a specific skill tree.
Narratively, the story is moronic. It starts bad and only gets worse. Our plucky protagonists have the bright idea to take the walking vermin nuke to a densely populated city, with predictable results. Things only get worse as the dumb foid protagonist does the same thing again.
The primary source of conflict in the story is the refusal of the protagonist to kill her little brother, and the writers try really hard to make us sympathize with her reluctance, despite the whole game being a montage of all the horrific things that happen to innocent people because she keeps being ********.
Also, there's (subtle) pozz in the game. A companion is heavily implied to be a homosexual, and there's a stronk womyn of color too.
It's a solid 5/10 if you have nothing better to do, but the whole game is dragged down by the dumb story, and too much padding.
Great to hear, that was the main reason I bought the bundlegerey wrote: ↑ July 3rd, 2024, 14:36I loathed the sequel. First game was mid, as the kids say, but the sequel really drops the ball hard narratively.

This might be of interest to some people, despite the fact that this appears to be basically a demo:
