Abnormally smashed and slammed facial proportions, weird deformed lips and uncanny valley mannequin skin especially for characters that are just meant to be humans. Some of them legit look like thai ********. This is the Serana replacer I use and I think she looks attractive without looking like a weird PS2 anime character.► Show Spoiler
Why do some Euros misuse consonants to sound EXACTLY like other consonants?
H exists. It already sounds like H. Z does not need to sound exactly like it in a different position in the word.
And then, what do you use for a Z sound? Q?
In Turkey, G often sounds like W. Why does this even make any sense?
I could go on, but this hurts me. And, yes, I am annoyed about the CKS nonsense in English as well.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.

Also love the banner for the sale on Steam. Finished Selene's Unbearable Night again. This time with the added content, the last chapter. The developer also did a few gameplay changes.
Still can't recommend it at around a price of 10. It is a B-Tier Horror game. Not bad, but not great, rather very mediocre. Also felt girl-bossy with some sequences/scenes. It has a few redeeming qualities. The visuals and voice acting are okay, weapons feel fine, human enemies die with one headshot and others with more. Bosses were **** though. Despite all this, game has a little bit of potential. Don't know if it is a solo Dev or not, but if he is, did a decent job.
On the contrary, Vigil: The Longest Night is a good mix of 2D-Soulslike and Metroidvania. Interesting story, good characters, decent balance and items. Can't say much about the talent trees, not enough knowledge with what they offer in practice and in comparison to each other.
Female protagonist but she is akin to something like a Valkyrie. Part of a special unit of casters and fighters called the Nightwarden. The Shimmering Goddess seems to be something akin to the Virgin Mary. The game has churches and they are shown in a good light so far. Have to complete the last bit of the 2nd and then the 3rd act to confirm it.
An underlying theme is also pagans versus the (Catholic) Church, with the pagans being shown in a bad light. Here is the store page:
Still, take my current story impression with a grain of salt, it can still change in Act 3.

I ranted about it in another thread. A prefect alphabet for slavic languages exists but they refuse to use it because those evil Russians use it, Latin is much nicer and western.Rand wrote: ↑ June 20th, 2024, 21:21Why do some Euros misuse consonants to sound EXACTLY like other consonants?

I'm sure there's an alphabet that would be perfect for English to.

Physical copies are also licenses for at least a few console generations already. Copy protection can be circumvented and the games ripped, however. It is doable up to at least the PS4 and Switch. Have never owned a MS console so can't comment on that.Oyster Sauce wrote: ↑ June 22nd, 2024, 14:41Sent my friend who doesn't pirate an online deal to get 2 digital games for $1.50 each. Some physical copies have similar prices as on Steam during a sale, i.e. Trials of Mana. At least how it is here in Europe. Cracked Steam games is another story and a viable choice too.
Retro and physical market is still darn overpriced at times. Checked on the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy yesterday and it goes for a few hundred minimum at least. Games preservation is a real issue as companies want consumers to enjoy their latest goyslop instead.
Small recommendation as a collector: Japanese Imports are usually the cheapest in some cases.
