Lead dev shows himself cosplaying as a mockery of a woman every day.
People voluntarily, openly work for this freak.
They are incapable of embarrassment.

also I'm guessing it won't even have classes because the main character seemed to be capable of doing everything, is this just an action game with lite RPG elements?
combat looked like AA Spiders jank, very floaty
Player is a "Rogue" so I think it'll keep the Warrior / Rogue / Mage archetypes for what it's worth.
This game looks slightly better than DA:I but just barely..

A lot of biodrones in the chat whining about how awful and negative the community is. Many of them actually have Dragon Age themed names and avatars.. are these people real? Do people unironically like Dragon Age enough to base their online personality around it??? Sad.
My guess is there are a lot of bots and paid lackey influencers in these chats/forums/etc...

There was a time where I thought Neeshka was an absolute insufferable **** of a mandatory companion. I miss Neeshka.
I'd say Qara was even worse. But at least they were more or less real women, as far as real women in a fantasy RPG can become.

Lost all interest. I hoped that it would be so bad as to be entertaining, but it's not. It's just run of the mill cinematic floaty action game set in modernity. It's heavily scripted, to the point that most of the enemies you first see you don't actually fight - they're just visual side dressing that dispatch some NPCs. The tactical combat I presume has been jettisoned entirely in favour of this, whatever this is called. Assassins Creed style, perhaps? The art direction is neither true to the series, nor particularly appealing in its own right. It's a shame really. I wanted to laugh at bioware, but they'll go out with a whimper.

****, that's ******* gay. He was the one constant good thing about dragon age after origins. And am I the only one who noticed that during the combat encounters, the companions did little to no damage and are not targeted by enemies?
They had no health bars. They're immortal, so they can't be too good at being aggro-sponges or damage dealers, since both would make the game too easy.

Sure hope that's only for the presentation. Why bother giving me two companions if they do nothing and just walk along.

Protected his account after the trailer backlash. This tells me that nobody that worked on this project has faith in it. This game is DOA and I wonder if it will finally dawn on the few remaining Bioware fans that this company is now dead and will probably be shuttered 6 months to a year after this games release.

The plot thickens.

probably either just bots or plants hired by the gaming company or their marketing department. Most recent example was Remedy hiring bots to leave A.I. written positive comments.

So another game hunting the quest marker through linear corridors, cycling through ****** cinematics and trash mobs towards a boss fight. How interesting.
This area could be uniquely a corridor due to what they are showing, AKA this is not a real explorable area / city hub but a specific story segment of the game that linearly transitions from non-hostile city to all out chaos based on triggers your walking over. The flip side though is that they can make it very fine tuned and visually appealing relatively cheaply so are we gonna see a lot of DA:I-esque areas and they showed this off as their "best foot forward" ?
Yes, and ultimately they decided to show off that segment (edited!) in a 20min gameplay trailer. So I have to assume that's already the best they have to offer. And it isn't much.
Nevermind. The game is Mission based - the whole thing is cutscene corridors.

Just as BG3 shows the gaming masses how fun Open World Emergent gameplay and Turnbased can be kicking off a new standard - Bioware releases another circa 2010, unadultered **** design clicker combat + cutscene corridor-on-rails RPG.

Just shut it down.

companions being irrelevant is so sad. i actually appreciated how integrated switching companions was in DA:I and how they could contribute to a battle, even if the companion AI was severely limited.

So you can hear their chatter all throughout the game. Also later on in the game you'll be able to activate their abilities.

Should've done it like Gayshit Impact or Wuthering Waves. Press button = Skill activate. If you want chatter/banter just let the portrait of the guys you take with you pop up.

They've said every companion is romanceable and playersexual so that old guy is an aging queen. The Ian McKellen of the group.
Apparently there was an early error in communication. All companions are explicitly pansexual. https://gamerant.com/dragon-age-the-vei ... pansexual/

The reception for it is rather positive, well compared to the first trailer: 16k/3k up/downvote
I seriously doubt the votes are legit now. As soon as they saw the **** show on the first they started rigging the voting results.
