Ironically, microsoft has to be absolutely hemorrhaging money on each gamepass subscriber, so the best way to hit their pocketbook is by subscribing to gamepass and then never buying any games from any of these companies.
I would rather Microsoft keep their money than give it to those game companies.

Not if they're taking a net loss on each subscriber,
How is that happening? Please explain like I'm a 4 yo playing Combat on my cousin's Atari 2600
a) Some subscribers would have paid full price for new Microsoft games instead of using the subscription.

b) Microsoft pays for games they don't make to appear on Game Pass.

They pay insane amounts to get third party games on gamepass. This link shows ballpark ranges and I believe there were others that I couldn't quickly find offhand.

https://imgur.com/a/exhibit-px-1052-cre ... ii-pHi74Dq

The bottom line is that they are paying hundreds of millions of dollars for each AAA game and $5mm+ for indies. These dollar ranges are low because they are from 2022 and gamepass subs are up quite a bit since then (+monetary inflation) so third parties are certainly charging more now. But to compare apples-to-apples, for 2022 gamepass revenue would have been under $3 billion, multiplying subscriber numbers by the monthly fee. Then there is the massive cannibalization of sales from their own first party games (Halo infinite supposedly cost $500mm+ to make). It's obvious that the numbers do not work, and this is without even getting into the internal costs and general business expenses of providing the service.

Microsoft is in the "growth" phase of trying to attract a userbase so they're shoveling as much money into the pit as possible to try and lure in paypiggies. I can't remember which big publisher exec held this talk (I think it was activision and talking about Destiny) but basically the format is:
Pull in the audience
Build good will/trust
Crank up monetization
Microsoft is basically gambling with billions of dollars that gamepass will pay back it's initial investment down the road.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

It's very hard to believe that I used to want to work for a Video Game company. Not anymore.
I used to be excited about the potential of new games, movies, tech, etc... and where they would go, the great projects that they would produce over the years...

Years later... here we are... and I find threading a worm on a hook and casting it into water to be far more exciting than the tech slop we have these days. They keep this up, and I will unplug completely and never look back.

Ubisoft, issued a pride tweet in 2023, did not in 2024.
They all look like they’re being held at gunpoint.

I could understand legit **** having an issue with that. Suddenly they need to share all those *** benefits with "lesbian" ******. They are still riding ****, and not getting any of those sweet director jobs anymore.

Pride is not a virtue.
It is a sin and the worst of sins. It was pride that led to Satan being cast out of heaven and him dooming mankind to a life of sin and death. The Pride flag is also sacrilegious as the rainbow was a symbol of God's promise to mankind that he will never flood the Earth again. It is like **** took that symbol as a means to tempt God to go back on his promise.

Imagine being the one country in the world so ******** that you have put IN YOUR NATION'S CONSTITUTION the "right" of a mother to abort her child.
Done only to force the constituent states to pass laws legally allowing and regulating it, then have no real rules so each state is massively different.

The absolute retardation on display creating this twisted workaround to overrule states. It deserved to be repealed for legal reasons alone.

What?
In January 1973, the Supreme Court issued a 7–2 decision in McCorvey's favor holding that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution provides a fundamental "right to privacy", which protects a pregnant woman's right to an abortion.

Perverting the constitution to make it "The law of the Land" and force all the states to comply, from the top down ***-backwards federal authority. It was leftism's best authoritarian trick of the women's movement/sexual revolution.

Imagine the retardation that believes that a due process privacy clause intended for use against the state goon apparatus now somehow means that you can abort your child.

Oh, I see. Yeah even Ginsberg said their reasoning was ********.

Even their own concurring opinions self-owned them:
Justice Potter Stewart wrote a concurring opinion in which he said that even though the Constitution makes no mention of the right to choose to have an abortion without interference,
he thought it would have been better to derive it from the Ninth Amendment—which states that the fact that a right is not specifically enumerated in the Constitution shall not be construed to mean that American people do not possess it—rather than through the Fourteenth Amendment's Due Process Clause

It was leftists on a power trip. It didn't have to make sense.
They always pull this kind of **** when they can. Find the ultimate authority and use it to make un-overrideable changes from the position of force.
Because their ideas are **** and they can't ever argue them from a position of reason. Because they don't use reason to come to their ideas.
