I've spent a while now trying to figure out what to even use this forum for. I don't want to curate news, and most stuff gets posted in the correct forum already. So why even have it? Needless clutter.
Therefore, the News section is simply for site-related news. If something gets changed and I think it's important enough that people should probably know of it, I'll just put it here.
What about announcements?
Consider it site-related news +1. Things like scheduled downtime will be put there.
