A high fantasy, first-person ARPG that embodies classical Tolkien and C.S Lewis concepts, with a visual style reminiscent of a Greg Hildebrandt illustration. The world should feel dynamic and lived-in, with NPC routines and busy roads. Every character should have something interesting to say and evoke a sense of personality, rather than static instructions or fetch quest drivel.

Oblivion was close, but it can be done better and with a lot more polish.

Oblivion is more than the sum of it's parts and is an amazing game, but I'm not blind to it's bevy of technical shortcomings and shortcuts. A lot of the dungeons are the same, a lot of the towns are bland without mods, the overworld is very static, etc.
