Western-made on RPG Maker... prepare for poz and disappointment. You cannot have a good JRPG without a Japanese mind behind it.

Who knows, maybe this will be an exception.

Looks like a RPG Maker game.
Also, I tend to avoid anything that has "a love letter to old games like X, Y, and Z". Can't remember the last time I saw a game that was good and had that as part of the marketing.
