How do I bypass Deltarune's mod gatekeeping

I am currently testing this mod for the first 4 chapters of Deltarune made in the likeness of Gendered Kris, and I just completed chapter 1. Unfortunately, when I try to start chapter 2, I am hit with this error:

Error attempting to load wad file with unexpected size 66951702 szFORM 66951822"

Does anyone know how to bypass this unusual error/ restriction so that I may test out the rest of the mod? I was hoping GotPlatinum would know.

The description says it's based on an earlier version of the game and it's not going to be updated for the most recent patch, so that's most likely why you're getting the error.

How does one update this patch? I think I tried examining the edited win.data via Undertalemodtool, but the **** thing just wouldn't open it! Chapters 2-4 have no file extension, so I had to add an xdelta extension to it.

I have decided that I am going to use the Gendered Kris mod that GotPlatinum has made, and adjust each string containing the singular they as I play through each chapter.
