My cardio is daily dog walks, but I found that I was able to comfortably play round-based autobattlers in between sets while resistance training. Granted I'm also working out, at home, and have access to a PC. Backpack Battles and The Bazaar have been my go-to for this. BpB just got a mobile port now, so you could play on your phone. I have no idea about the quality though.

I've also had Super Auto Pets recommended to me, but I didn't care too much for it. I also appears to have a mobile port.

To me, round-based autobattlers seems like it would be the way to go, even with cardio. You could slow down in between rounds when you're setting up your board/team/what-have-you, and then push yourself during the actual battle.

I've only ever played videogames and exercised when I had a TV mounted to a treadmill and I hooked up a PS2 slim underneath. Played Ace Combat 5 while fast walking. Couldn't pull it off while running. Almost fell over.
