Perk Changes:
- Knight Training: On horseback you strike fear into the hearts of your enemies, lowering their morale. Melee attacks from horseback will cost you 15% less stamina and it will be harder for enemies to unseat you. Lastly, when mounted, your words carry more weight, increasing your Presence and Intimidation by 25%.
- Into the Fray: Fully charged attacks made from the saddle will be 25% stronger.
- *Fast as the Wind: Horse will gallop 20% faster, consume stamina 10% slower.
*The speed increase is completely separate from the default horse speed, so expect to be noticeably faster, even with a 60 speed horse.
Parameters Changes:
- Horseback couched damage 1.5x per m/s in speed, up to 7.5x at 15 m/s.
- Enemies required 75% of the rider's strength or weapon skill to unhorse rider.
- Canines are now considered no greater threat than humans.
- Max spur time now 50 seconds, each spur adds 10 seconds.
- Horse exhaustion is now 5% stamina.
- Horse Stamina base 150.
- Horse no longer has natural armor (added Stamina is the offset).
Collision Damage: (scales with velocity)
- Horse trot can cause (up to) minor health damage.
- Horse canter can cause (up to) moderate health damage.
- Horse gallop can cause (up to) major health damage.
Why Mounted Combat Should Be More OP
KE = 1/2 * m * v^2
Where:
- KE is kinetic energy,
- m is mass (combined mass of horse and rider),
- v is velocity (speed of the horse).
Henry + Armor + Horse = 550kg (based upon game file in lbs)
Horse Velocity = 10m/s (36kmh or 23mph - a conservative gallop)
Kinetic Energy = 27500 J
For comparison, a .50BMG is 20000 J of energy.
Compatibility: Mod is PTF and compatible with anything not touching horse values in rpg_param, soul_archetype, or the buff_perks listed.
Installation: Unzip and place mod folder in C:\ ... \KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods.
Notes:
- I recommend using Realish Horse Armor for a complete mounted combat overhaul.
- Collision Damage doesn't have extensive testing; therefore it may require some minor balancing. Currently, Henry receives only 5% of mutual impact sprinting damage from NPCs (receive 95%).
- Collision damage testing was done on the fastest horse, with mod perk included; therefore, don't expect to kill NPCs after one or two hits, when riding slower horses.
