The world of gaming is about to witness a battle unlike any other. From the minds of highly advanced artificial intelligence (and some very sleep-deprived humans), we are thrilled to announce ArcAInia - The Fall of Sans Serif, an epic RPG adventure that pits players against the most notorious and overused fonts in history.

A mysterious force threatens the world of ArcAInia, a land where typography and magic are one. The once-harmonious balance between typefaces has been shattered, and the sans-serif fonts - once considered modern and clean - have grown corrupt with power. Their leader, the ruthless Helvetica the Hollow, has seized control, oppressing the serif fonts and plunging the land into chaos. But hope remains: you, a young hero known only as The Typographer, must embark on an epic journey to restore balance and ensure that no font shall dominate over the others.

Prepare to embark on the most typographically intense adventure ever conceived ArcAInia - The Fall of Sans Serif launches April 1st, 2026… or does it? Stay tuned for more details that may or may not exist!

Reading the old April Fool's WoW patch notes was novel and a little saddening, as the ideas suggested there were often cooler than the actual game, like a paladin's eternal flame ability actually setting people on fire.

I think I also came here from /v/ I went on it for the first time in a year back in December, saw the leaks about kingdom come 2 and someone linked a post leading here. Whoever leaked that game is a hero.

This is a funny thing that happened earlier today. The Ashes of Erebus mod has a long standing April Fools Day prank - the title screen becomes a silly pink unicorn picture and the music changes to "Never Gonna Give You Up" - and it's known as Unicorn Day. (It's a reference to the "no unicorns" rule originally put in place by Kael.)

This guy (I'm 90% sure is a ******) announced himself an unofficial loremaster and got really mad about it today, even though it's been around for over a decade and he's long been aware of it. (Mammon is a reference to one of the gods in the setting, by the way.)
