your thoughts on gravity rush?

Post by psychic_dream »

I played the remaster in 2019, not expecting much from what is essentially a Vita game with some visual cleanup for console. I enjoyed my first playthrough—the upside-down traversal mechanics were pretty fun to mess around with. There were lots of memorable side quests where you’re actually invested in the side characters' backstories and what they need help with, rather than just mindless checklist busywork.

I don't remember much from the story other than that you play as a poor amnesiac girl living in the slums, trying to juggle between city crime cases, helping a private detective, and running errands. All while teaming up with a black-haired chick to protect the city from ethereal slime monsters.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don't think the protagonist is a lesbian. She might’ve shown some 'tendencies,' but I don’t remember her outright saying she wanted to engage in scissoring. Now, you might be asking, "Dude, women are sluts who'll **** anything, what did you expect?" But honestly, I don’t think lesbianism is actually a thing . But then again, I’ve seen two "codependent" women online—one is a niqabi with a nose ring—claiming they’re openly carpet munchers. Tbh, I’m not sure at this point. :scratch-pipe:

But back to the topic at hand— what do you think of it? Have you considered giving it a try?

Not reading all of that but I remembering playing it on Vita and thinking it was a neat game to **** around in but didn't have much meat on its bones. Having to play as a hole really hampered its potential.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

Anyone claiming to be a lesbian online is a man.

I played it back when it came out and very much enjoyed it, the aesthetics and movement were great (except having to use the back touch screen, but I guess it was added to display the "capabilities" of the console). It gave me great hope for the future of the Vita and I was sorely disappointed.

I don't remember much about the story either except that it didn't make a ton of sense, but didn't she live with that detective? Or he picks her up from the street, at any rate I thought that was the natural "couple" in the game, and I don't think I saw any homo implications (I was younger though).

Played it a few hours then got bored pretty fast of the gameplay. It looked nice but the enemies were rather boring and the amount of attacks you had too. Then gave the game away.

I played the sequel. It was all right I guess, frustrating in parts.

I have it on Vita, it was a decent game but not great or anything.

It's also my only game on the Vita aside from "playstation all-stars" which is **** and came bundled with the thing.

Instead my Vita is basically a psp and ps1 emulator since I never had a psp. great ****** console.

The PS Vita was great for playing Jak and Daxter while ignoring my relatives at Thanksgiving.
