I am the user of a traditional web forum. I am not going to peruse twitch. It's a coin flip if I will even click on the embedded video. But if I do, I want to see gameplay, not marketing.

Development is headed by the same main dev Warframe had for decades, so if you didn't like that, well...
Ironically, the current female director for Warframe has been going toward a slightly different development direction.

With the argument that a few hundred of those were spent idle or with the client left open with me forgetting to close it, but I digress. I started during Specters of the Rail and stopped at the beginning of Deimos. Not early enough for the TRUE OG experience where there was still stamina, but early enough for the space ninja experience before DE started to race itself to the bottom. Before potatoes could walk around outside their frames, before stronkor tonkor got nerfed, before relic reworks, before open playfield meme, before helmeth, before railjoke, before kuva, before the riven mafia, before all the good weapons were ruined, before they admitted arcwing was a complete failure and itzal was the only one worth using, before Steve started ripping off other games wholesale, before a lot of stuff.

Me, who started after all of those were part of the game, and never experienced the space ninja experience before it become the AoE boomstick meta.

Granted, I still preferred playing mostly melee frames, so I'm hoping Soulframe focuses on that.

Humanoids are DE's weakness, and considering this is a pre-alpha; you might want to wait until the game officially releases before caring about that kind of polish.

You're not missing out on anything. Imagine the plains of eidolon, except that's basically the whole game.

Also you move really slow without any way to go fast like in warframe

I have yet to play Soullframe, but Warframe started out with similar (or worse) issues and yet somehow they managed to turn it into one of the most successful live service games. Considering fantasy is also a lot easier for normies to digest, it wouldn't surprise me if this ends being their most popular game eventually.
