after a few months of early access, the game seems to still have awful and braindead ai. Damning for a game that entirely revolves around the NPCs in-world. Half-life 2 and F.E.A.R. meanwhile came out 20 years ago and painfully humiliates this game (along with most other modern titles)

My guess is they just looked at whatever tags are hot right now and retooled their existing game to try to boost sales, unless anyone has early dev stuff proving otherwise?
