Wasn't China buying or investing in Larian or something? In my eyes, anything being invested in by something that might have an ulterior motive woke global inc. is not an indie studio anymore.

I saw someone say one definition could be where even the CEO gets involved in the game dev. Larian's CEO DOES get involved (going by comments in the files), but I think that's only from a 'direction' perspective.
