Oblivion is pretty high up there for me personally. Certain parts of KOTOR I&II (especially the ship ambiance).
Fable II actually came to mind to me as well. I never played much of the first game just 2 and 3.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

I enjoy this game but I've never left the safe shallows because I am a mass pussy when it comes to underwater stuff.

I was the same but once you get the Seamoth and Prawn Suit it's pretty easy to avoid anything dangerous.

I remember I tried it in VR once and the prawn suit was pretty cool to use like that.

This gave me nostalgia in a terrible sick to my stomach way
I remember a guy in the multiplayer gave me the Halo assault rifle collector's edition item and then said he had to go because he had to go do "adult stuff" with his girlfriend.

If you didn't scan each leviathan you didn't beat the game.

Hey You Pikachu for the N64. You and your pikachu play around inside your room, and then you go out and explore a park or a forest or a lake, picking up acorns or interacting with the wild Pokemon NPCs. No world ending threat, no savage monsters, no taxes or bills to pay, just you and your fantastical pet. You speak into the mic to communicate with Pikachu. The game did not properly explain the limitations of its system, which often lead to frustration as Pikachu would seemingly not understand you. There was an urban myth for years that the game could only recgonize the voice of children. A few years ago someone looked into the code and it turned out that due to N64's memory limitations, the game did not load all of phrases it could recgnoize for every level, so phrases that worked in one wouldn't work in another. Also the voice commands work if you just use those short phrases rather than try to make longer, natural sentences.

These spring to mind:
  • Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons
  • Shining Wisdom
  • Knights into Dreams
  • Trine
(I know the criteria was "first" but tough).
