BG3: Replace the Weirdly Skanky Noble Dresses with Modest Ones
We already know Larian made a multitude questionable design decisions about the game, but among the many that vex me was the decision to have noblewomen dress like they work in a bordello. Florrick's EA outfit was perfect for giving her the gravitas her station demanded, but ever since a late-EA change, she's looked like a prostitute. There are also the Umberlee slags at the temple, but I wouldn't know if their religious garb was always established in lore to be skanky or not.
I assume a model and texture swap are all that is needed, or just editing applicable character information to call for them to wear a different outfit (unless this would be most likely to conflict with other mods)? I wouldn't know how to do it, but if someone could de-coomerify the game at least on a surface level, that'd be swell.
I'm also curious to know others' thoughts on this particular design decision, so feel free to share your opinions.

Not authentically medieval but authentically DnD
Doesn't mean that you can't make or install such a mod. Mods are about player freedom.
Sure, but I don't think it was an error on Larian's part to include thisGregz wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 01:07Doesn't mean that you can't make or install such a mod. Mods are about player freedom.

Oh yeah. I'd be the guy installing the coomer+ mod.Oyster Sauce wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 01:19Sure, but I don't think it was an error on Larian's part to include thisGregz wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 01:07Doesn't mean that you can't make or install such a mod. Mods are about player freedom.

This bothers me a lot as well. U gonna need to blender each outfit though. to prevent collision etc. Doable but time again.

Adventurer's Guild
the game became increasingly gay/"divierse"/sexual after the first early access release. It's hard to explain this to anyone who didn't play both, it's like they had a team go through and *** everything up.Envergence wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 00:02Florrick's EA outfit was perfect for giving her the gravitas her station demanded, but ever since a late-EA change, she's looked like a prostitute.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

They probably did. There are cultural sensitivity experts that companies like larian bring in to do just that.rusty_shackleford wrote: β January 25th, 2024, 04:46the game became increasingly gay/"divierse"/sexual after the first early access release. Almost like someone ordered to "make it lame and gay".
Almost...
I'm gonna take up this request.
