Supposedly the character creator is based on The Sims and yet they don't let you mold the characters like you can in The Sims 4. You still need to use a boatload of sliders to customize the body and face.

Also, that guy looks like that Firbolg race from D&D, you know, like the ruined version of the race invented by Critical Role and not any of the good versions of the race from even from fifth edition. If he was blue and his nose red you might confuse him as such.

So they took elements of Sims 4 but none of **** that actually matters.

If I remember correctly, EA had a patent on that system, so you would think they would also let Bioware implement it here so as to make the character creator seem more advanced than the competition. Though I'm not sure it would work well since Dragon Age: The Veilguard still has that weird political stuff in it like the top scars.
