Wow on national Skyrim day too. I wonder how happy baby Dovahkiin's parents are with all the new Elder Scrolls games they get for free now :)
They probably get a lot of lunchboxes in Fallout Shelter to be fair

Didn't know they released two Assassin's Creeds on the same day before

Image
One for last generation consoles and the other for the next generation. Rogue is essentially a reskin of 4 with a mix of 3.

Rogue also leads directly to Unity, with Rogue's protagonist killing Unity's protagonist's dad in the last mission of Rogue/first mission of Unity.
Also, also, Rogue features Haytham Kenway, who's one of the best characters in the series.

Im quite happy that modern Ubisoft will never be able to taint Beyond Good & Evil or Prince of Persia , now that their stock market value is in the gutter

It hasn't rebounded yet? I thought NiggersCreed was a massive hit. Even on this site people were saying that.

I seem to remember Rogue feeling like half a game compared to Black Flag in terms of length of the game and the size of the world.

I actually just read up on their games, trying to find out when was the last time I enjoyed published by them. They had POD, Pro Pinball: Timeshok! and Longest Journey! :bounce:

I completely forgot this even existed - just goes to show how creatively bankrupt and shallow nu Ubisoft has become. On the bright side, with their stock tanking and all the layoffs, it’s more likely we’ll be spared a remake of Sands of Time where the protagonist is some vaguely Indian guy, or a Jade redesign that looks like she’s straight out of the Congo.

The really pathetic part is that there's people defending Ubisoft, saying that this would have been the one AssCreed game where a ****** protagonist make sense.

I guess normies still operate under the delusion that Shadows bombed because Yasuke was not historically accurate or whatever, and not because most of people outside the West despises ******* and don't want to be reminded of their existence.

Ubisoft killing a game featuring more normalization of racially-motivated violence against Whites is possibly the sole sensible decision they've made in the past 10 years.

Game should have been about a gentleman Confederate Templar shanking Yankee Assassins for being race traitors.

It is not only bugsoft. The whole "blockbuster or bust" model of AAA is unsustainable, imo. Trying to cut costs and debloat the companies, trying to make a modern AAA game budget akin to a 2010 budget, is the unique thing that could save the AAA industry. Their audience wouldn't grow and/or tolerate to pay more for games. The average normie that only plays the yearly sportsball video game, maybe.

AAA games would have zero issues selling copies if they were being made by the same people who were making them 15 years ago

I had fun with Odyssey. There was some spark of life in that game. The entire AC franchise is hot garbage, but the idea of a light-fantasy historical RPG there's something in that. Unfortunately that game was some kind of aberration.

And I don't like *******. Not in my games. Not in my life.

End this ****** worshipping already.

Sounds amazing. Nobody will ever make it, of course.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

I would bet everything I have that Ubisoft was going to conveniently forget that the KKK were the remnants of the democratic party which themselves formed the Confederacy because they didn't wanted to let go of their slave force, just like the modern democratic party of today.

to be fair, that's not really "of consequence" in the sense that it's not going to make the company go bankrupt

It's probably just going to get even more bought by China

The stock was worth 4 EUR in 2012. ATH in 2018: 108 EUR per stock. Now it's 4 EUR again. @_@

Yeah, stock prices don't actually have any direct effect on the company. It's not like a score where you're out if you hit 0. A low stock price makes it hard for a company to raise money, but isn't Ubisoft funded by the EU or something anyway? Regardless, the stock price tanking doesn't hurt the company, only the shareholders. Ubisoft might still go bankrupt depending on what actual liabilities it has on its balance sheet (I haven't checked), but it won't be because of the stock price per se. More likely it gets bought up once it's cheap enough.
