I was ignoring this game entirely, but as a BG1 and BG2 fan (I only played these games a few years ago for the first time - and absolutely loved them), this mod will let me play it. Thank you.
I am embarrassed the youngest generations have to see people from my generation and older promote this stuff just to virtue signal to each other, when we have known for a while that homosexual acts and imagery tend to be naturally unpleasant to a straight person at a physiological level, regardless of moral attitude towards homosexuality. And that's on top the general incompatibility between pre-industrial societies and certain ideologies...

I think you'v listed it all, (just in case it is not the one you are talking about, there is different version of better aesthetic. check compatibility section of no alphabet main page.)
Apart for a potential mod to properly remove gayness from companions, as you mentionned, The only thing i can think of, would be a mod fixing the potatoe faces of main character preset.
Most of them on nexus are full of bug it seem, those that i have seen at least.
There is the "new preset face" mod that you can find on basedmods, it's decent, but have some clipping issue with the beard and/or gap between beard and face...

If one of you have some recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is, this mod do it by disabling approval gain. So some things that may be tied to approval will be unavailable.

Thanks! This is a nice quick fix, but as you said it's really not ideal to use if it prevents you from bonding with same-sex companions entirely. Glad to see there's interest and research being done on the matter though, I'll wait patiently for a better version.

According to our resident super-modder orinEsque the romance behaviour of the companions is extremely hard to mod because the script controlling it is very complicated. There's an explanation further up the page.

To answer your other question: The companions being weirdly horny for the PC is a problem that even reddit got annoyed with (Gale being the prime offender).

Personally I never got why this issue still persists in games when the solution is so very simple: Assume no romantic interest until the player initiates anything. And make the romantic interaction option obvious because in this game you can't breathe in certain characters' direction without them getting weirdly horny about it.

Some of it is an actual bug though. I remember that Gale and Halsin had conversation paths which offered two choices at the end, both of which triggered a romance flag.

Oh geez, yes Gale is awful. Most of the time he pines for Mystra, then you spend a short period looking at the stars and suddenly he's in love with you. No wonder Mystra kicked him out.

Speaking for myself, a guy that was involved with a goddess is just not relationship material to begin with. So many red flags with Gale.

The rest of the mod is certainly a plus, too. I am really not a fan of the pandering. One or two such relationships in hushed corners, sure, but the sheer amount of them - in cutscenes you can't avoid even - really irks me.
Now sure, this game is not the wokest of the bunch of late, but as I like to say; I don't care, Waiter, how small you say the fly in my soup is, or how good the soup is around it. There is still a fly in my soup!

So yeah. Downloaded and it'll probably make my next run more enjoyable.

Kind of miraculous that there's still some folks like me who haven't been indoctrinated by the libtards. The fact that the market for games is predominantly filled with these idiots is quite concerning. The dilution of the original consumer base is real. I guess gatekeeping really is a good thing.

Guess since they deleted the Ser Aylin mod on nexus my bugreport is gone too. In the videoscene after you beat Ketheric and are at moonrise again where Nightsong meats Isobel again there was a glitch for me where Aylin had a female head again and her pants werent working and you could see the butt, the armor was also the female version again. Maybe its a mod conflict with the selune armor mod or a headreplacer for halfelfs I installed since the scene plays like it should in the youtube video trailer. Also saw Isobel calling Alyin a she when you talk to her at last light inn directly after freeing nightsong. I still use the release version of the game. The new voice/look is really great tho.

Sounds like your Aesthetics and Lingo mod isn't working at all. Two things come to mind:

1. You/ your mod manager is not setting your mod order properly.

• Show me your mod manager load order.
• Open AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\modsettings.lsx in a notepad and check the mods are mentioned there.

2. Your game is out of date, need to be at least patch 4 for those to work. Because Larian did some major changes on how those pak files are read. So mods, not just mine will not be supporting older ones.

Oh and welcome to the forum.

Yes head replacers and things work, because those directly replace files. But any edits to the game code with Aylin's text and looks, will require newer version, unfortunately.
