@TheEmptyRoad And because the game is actually competently written, you can call Alistair out on it. Though I feel like after playing again that he was part of the beginning of "quippy funny" marvel-like writing we have so much of now. Nonetheless I still like him, as there is much more to him than that aspect of his character.
I know, but his stubborn refusal to recognize that Loghain would be an asset if he survived his Joining because “hE doESnT DEseRvE iT” just drives me up the wall. Like, my dude, Grey Wardens are not and Never Have Been ‘Noble Knights’, despite what people like Cailan seem to think. We need EVERYbody against the Blight. Not to mention the delicious irony in making Loghain a Grey Warden - the very order he attempted to discredit and destroy - by putting him through the Joining and thus making him understand *exactly* what they are and why they do what they do. The Wardens recruit whoever and whomever they need to get the job done, period. /endrant
You can get Alistair to deal with it and spare Loghain, but you have to "harden" him for that to work.
Guess I didn’t do it right *shrug*.

It is done. Some finale screenshots for y'all to enjoy. On to Awakening. Oh! I nominate Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords for consideration in the next vote.

I guess, still not a fan of it, people had the AG for the older games yet didn't bother playing the voted games. I'm not going to complain any further though and if the older games are voted, I'll just skip lol.

They also had Amberland from 2019, obviously very playable today and a genuinely fun game.

Compare it to the other games though. Amberland is clearly a homage to the dungeon crawler first person rpgs while all the games here so far were more 3D RPGs, unless I'm wrong (Oyster will probably Image again)

The guilds have effectively just merged. I like the nomination system (engagement bait system).

Not beaten Deus Ex yet, but I will be starting Dragon Age too as I am in need of a game I know to pass the time while I rest a while heart is getting inflamed.

Also, I will be waiting for after December to say if I beat anything or not as I wish to donate to the HQ myself @Oyster Sauce, so do not worry about me going on a "killstreak" or anything like that :3

Could you ping me when you will start your next one? I am hoping to play them all, but would love to keep it unexpected instead of following month by month after I finish catching up with the games from October, and would love some inspiration.

Completed as a Rogue (Bard/Duelist). Not a ton of metamaxxing, I didn't do any of the DLC campaigns and didn't bother with Awakenings. I did get to reprise being a blender with Momentum and Haste, and 6 paralyze runes :D.

It was fun, but I'd forgotten the poor performance, frequent crashes, multitude of annoying bugs, long length, and other annoyances. All in all I don't think I'll be coming back to it again. GIB BADGE

As my files were wiped and I had to reinstall the game, I wanted to share this for anyone that might have the same issue as I have been having since getting the game on Steam:

If the game crashes at the Ostagar bridge (walking up to the guard at the very entrance of the camp and the game freezes) this is what fixes the issue for me, the issue itself being, it seems, that the game is having issues with its memory.

Started a run on Hard difficulty. Elf Mage, Arcane Warrior and later on Battle Mage. From the little testing in Awakening, it will be fun.
All up to and including Lothering has been completed and the Mage Tower is next. Wynne as Spirit Healer will be of great help.
The game, while good, isn't without its flaws. From the first impression, there are other RPGs with deeper combat, though its early game may be misleading.
It has some diversity, equality and gay stuff. Nothing that can't be changed. Leliana and Zevran can also be turned straight. Can't remember which file is responsible for it.
► Modlist
There's a Remaster Project in the works. The channel owner and modder is a Russian commie. It is mostly a graphical update. Updated textures, morphs.
