There are a few on Nexus. Unlike mods like this, they aren't yet so woke that they'd delete mods aimed at making fictional women prettier.

Thing is the mod is called "datamined" - I assume this means this is what her face looked like in an earlier build, IOW, this was a deliberate and late change to her appearance.

I've been playing BG3 since Early Access in 2020. Shadowheart's face was the same then as it is now.

That one reddit post is the last straw. As a young adult, I wanted to remain optimistic about the current triple A industry. I always wanted to give the studios and companies the benefit of the doubt, trying to brainwash myself into thinking they're just being "progressive" and there's nothing wrong with it. In retrospect, I realise what a fool I was. In an effort to avoid being cynic in his 20s, I desperately wanted to believe that the old heads were just looking at the past with nostalgia and rose-tinted glass. Now, I know otherwise.

I'm lucky enough to be born in a time where I could still enjoy games on my PS2 and my parent's crappy PC in 2005. But you know what's scary? There's a whole generation of young "gamers" out there who've never even played those games. Forget about the 90s, they've probably never even touched games of the late 2000s. Whole generation whose sole gaming experience comes from the "woke" era that we are in right now.

The Overton window has shifted so far that unless a game smacks you in your face, people refuse to acknowledge the propaganda present in these games. Really makes me wonder how the hell we got to THIS point.

This sucks even more because unlike a lot of mediocre triple A games, Baldur's Gate 3 is actually fantastic - but even it was not free of this plague that has taken over the industry.

Also, bookmark https://basedmods.eth.limo/browse/ - there's a pretty good collection. Check out mods for Hogwarts Legacy - too bad the game is ****, but with these mods it's at least playable without cringing from propaganda
