How about Kingdoms of Amalur? It's like a WoW/Fable offspring with some big names behind it. Also, you can dual wield magical chakrams, which is pretty kewl.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a single-player action role-playing game for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was created as a MMO, but it eventually turned into a RPG. Ken Rolston, the lead designer of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, acts as the game's exclusive designer. Additionally, noted fantasy author R.A. Salvatore created the game universe and lore, with Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn, working on the artwork.

It was first released in 2012 but had a remaster in 2020. If that's too modern of a game for the Junior Adventurer's Guild, disregard the suggestion.

Alright! I just completed VTMB. Sure was a fun experience again.
Did somethings exactly like I did back then and some not.
(Like killing Pisha, that disgusting piece of ****)

Did the "Camarilla" Ending with Strauss since the rest is pretty much ******** options or downright deadly for the MC
(Anarch ending... really? I'm going to let commie **** take control of the city? No way)
(Kuei Jin ending... ***** ***** is a backstabbing slant eye *****, who gets you knocked out and put into a coffin dumping you into the ocean)
(LaCroix ending... French powerhungry *** gets you both killed by opening the sacophagus because the crack junkie Jack rigged it, nope)

Still a 9/10 after all these years, even if it is a bit dated on the technical side.

I forgot how empty the game is. The character development model is very basic. So the devs don't have enough items to place in the world. Gimble's basement has like 6 rooms and 2 (two) items total - blood pack and hand. Ditto many others. Ditto fake door everywhere.
Why there's a limit for items in invetory is beyond me.
I've fapped on that movie. Twice.
Midgame I've realised that I'm playing that character optimization game again. Because there's no real game other than that.
There're no repeatable missions and no farming, so money is either useless or permanently limited. Compare it to, e.g. Wingcom Privateer where you could farm yourself a new ship for hours before you stumble over a plot mission - that game was game even without a plot. Outside of combat sequences VTMB is basically a visual novel. A nice one, but still.

Started a Nosferatu playthrough. I don't know why people rag on it with "Get used to boring sewers, because that's all you're gonna see!" I've done Santa Monica already and the only time I had to go into the sewers is when I had to get to the Ocean Hotel. You just zig-zag around and cross the street when you see a pedestrian.

Yea hearing this and then actually giving the playthrough a try myself I can only assume that was cope from someone who has never played the game/as nosferatu. You can even get right up to NPCs and you have to stand there retardedly long for any consequence. Only time you have to go to the sewer is to travel to different hubs and that takes no longer than running to the taxi.
