The option to view a range of accessibility features at the very start of a gaming experience is quickly becoming table stakes.

I will like to know when these people get fired due to the games industry currently being in free fall.

The Killing Time Remaster got released not long ago. Did three runs. One on medium difficulty, one on Very Hard which is comparable to Ultra Violence in Doom, and a speedrun on Very Easy. Total play-time has been, well, less than 9 hours. Its Time Trapped difficulty setting is like Ultra Nightmare on Doom, having enemies respawn. Not surprising given they worked with something from Doom to build their game.
I have to say, it is a B- or C-Tier shooter. For comparison, Doom, Blood, Quake, Heretic, Hexen, Duke Nukem, as well as modern titles such as Ion Fury, and various Doom Wads, they all rank (much) higher.
Biggest issue with Killing Time is its maze-like and at times boring level design, along with some bad enemy design, mainly non-humanoid ones, in context of combat. Despite this, it has some good content. The weapons are mostly enjoyable to use. Although, the Molotov Cocktails could use a higher hitbox. Story is fine, nothing exceptional.
The Remaster is good in that it allows to use features from both the Windows and 3DO version, the latter being the superior one. Can't tell if there are gameplay changes between features of either because it could have very well been due to the Very Hard difficulty features. Not worth its price, 15 $/€ at maximum.

Then there's the Croc Remaster. Hopefully it does well, it's a charming platformer. Played it on the PSX.

You can clearly see Teyon love for the films in the game.

I thought it was terrible. I just wanted to blow the **** out of some machines in COD shooting gallery style levels, but it is slow-paced with wide open levels, "stealth," and "choices matter" nonsense. Gathering a bunch of crap together to engage in tedious "crafting" like The Last of Us. Felt like a bland RPG lite that didn't have good shooting or good RPG elements. Maybe it improved in the late game but I cut it off after a couple of hours because it wasn't fun at all.

I have no idea what game this is, but maybe the message itself expires in 4.5 days but you will get the 6.9 days to deliver the goods when you accept the contract?

Russian accent doesn't sound as pronounced as in the movies if the person has at least some practice speaking and has been exposed to American media. And a whole lot of younger people all over the world have been practically immersed in American media thanks to the Internet.
In my GW2 guild there were a lot of Swedes and Finns and a few Lithuanians and Russians. The Russians sounded pretty similar to this guy.
All of that said, the Russian accent you hear in the movies is a lot more pleasant to the ear than the horrendous modern Russian accent.

Working in game dev these days is probably one of the cushiest jobs out there. Unless you royally **** up and sell 5% of your projections, you are mostly fine. Can't think of a lower pressure work environment. Ubicunts kept cruising for years and it took multiple expensive flops for them to even reconsider working arrangements.

That's literally from people who are Disco Elysium commies. As in actual 1917 style commies.
If they could say anything else, they might just have a stroke and die from the strain and mental whiplash.

Void War looks like an FTL clone that's also ripping off Warhammer 40k.

I was like "Hmm, "ripping off" is kind of a strong phrase." But then I saw the screenshots.
It's literally FTL with a WH40K coat of paint.

Tried out RDR1 on PC. It's a good port, with no technical problems so far. The only nitpick I have is the fact that there's only a general sound and music volume bars. No volume option for dialogue.
And it's really open, unlike the second game where you had to do an hour of boring on-the-rails missions just to get to the first open world segment. Here you just do a couple of very short missions and you can ride into the sunset. It also doesn't feel like you're controlling a lumbering ****** as John is much more responsive and turns on a dime.
The opening cutscene felt a bit too on the nose for my nooticer mindset with its lambasting of the white American settlers. This faggy "natives are literal angels, actually" narrative just makes me roll my eyes now.

Words can't describe the loathing and disgust I feel towards the injun. They're just as worthless as *******, and equally dumb and destructive. Only reason they're not mentioned more often is that there's so few of them and they keep most of their savagery within the reservation, unleashing it upon their fellow featherheads and their own foids.

It's one of the greatest tragedies of history that the American settlers didn't finish what God had started and wiped the injun off the face of the planet.

Injuns are ****-tier, but nowhere near as bad as the Sub(human)Saharans.
They generally perpetrate their criminality on each other, only occasionally delving into petty theft.
They all know they are worthless, even the ones that try to deny it. The only ones that are mentally healthy have abandoned their backwards and worthless culture to live and work in the 21st century like the rest of us.
In Canada we have a somewhat large number of these people living in towns and cities that have (correctly) abandoned the worthless ways of their ancestors, and have jobs and normal families.
Of course, the majority here are on the public dole on reservations, and are of no value to anyone, including themselves. Especially themselves.
Frankly, it would have been a mercy to execute them or forcefully co-opt their societies as they did in central and South America, instead of letting them fester.

The development and press around this has been strange. I've been following since Jan 2022, and there hadn't been any news since the initial trailer...
