Huge open world games (particularly on console) were also a novelty at the time and there weren't many alternatives, so ofcourse people flocked to check it out.

There's no way you can actually believe this.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

if only starfield had brown mushrooms in a brown and grey and fog-covered wasteland like morrowind it would have been successful

TRVTHNVKE

Morrowind had SOVL, Skyrim did not. Also vikangz are snow monkeys, so automatically cringe.

The best parts of Morrowind also had normal sized mushrooms.

Legend has it they've paid the staff writers for all 7 years and Microsoft forced them to use Copilot. The shipped game will contain 2600+ full-length books.

oh man, i completely forgot about that. TES6 will definitely have a ton of AI-generated books.

Better AI than women, browns and libtards tbh

what if it's an AI trained on stuff written by libtarded brown women?

That's still ultimately a net win because it means that a job that would have went to a libtarded brown woman was taken by an AI instead.

You guys are way overestimating how amusingly bad this will be.
It can't **** me off like Skyrim did. It'll be like minding my business but accidentally seeing the city ragmen dump an unrecognizable body I once knew into a mass grave.

can't wait for the quest involving the red guard that gets assaulted by a guard and can't breathe
I can't recall did starfield have anything like this? I just remember it had ugly ******* and **** everywhere.
At one point, Sarah tells the player to "Trust the (science)"... that was enough for me.

Wasn't there a quest about space **** doing jew things? I think you could blow their ship up though so maybe Todd was onto something.

You guys are way overestimating how amusingly bad this will be. Unless again there's something in Starfield that I've missed out on Bethesda hasn't been as direct and heavy handed with that sort of social commentary. More likely it's just going to have a bunch of ugly characters and all the companions with be playersexual.
The bigger issues that will make it completely unplayable is that the writing will be really bad in a boring and uninteresting way while the whole thing runs at like 28fps despite having cities probably still smaller than Balmora some how.
Slopfield was apolitical in its text, but TES Online wasn't.

Maybe Todd's direct involvement will keep this stuff out, maybe not. Kuhlmann did say his influence was waning given the increasing size of the company.

Fallout 76 also had ***** autism in it but like ESO how much that reflects on real Bethesda is up in the air especially after Starfield.

Bethesda can't make games.
