My guess is that they are feeding us those fancy cinematics because the gameplay either doesn't exist, or exists but looks very rough.

Apparently the Ukranian doesn't cry in pain as he strikes you.

Still pretty suspect.

Ukrops were irreversibly mindbroken by 2022 onwards, if this game ever had a chance of surpassing past titles, it died then. Prepare for mediocrity and a whole lot of slava oinkrainis if it ever even releases

i might have a new computer by the time this comes out, but i'm not too optimistic about the game itself. i've said this numerous times before elsewhere - but the fact that they really haven't shown much gameplay except doctored demos is a red flag for me

On various Japanese retail sites, pre-orders have recently gone live for a never-before-seen STALKER product named ‘Legends of the Zone Trilogy’. It has been claimed that this triple-pack of titles includes STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, STALKER: Clear Sky, and STALKER: Call of Pripyat, and it’ll be the first time any of these games have appeared on a console platform.

Technically there is nothing wrong with a black guy in a STALKER game, he can be just some American mercenary or an artifact smuggler - the Zone is the new frontier that attracts people from all over the world.

But we all know why he was added.

I wonder if the game will be even more buggy at launch than its predecessors, that would certainly be an achievement.

It's not even bugs I am most worried about, I don't think this will be even a full game. It's probably some unfocused mess of different ideas.

If the trailers are anything to go by; the amount of cutscenes and lack of gameplay is not reassuring.
Still, at the very least it might give a solid foundation for modders to work upon.

Essentially a non-update, OST without context is always a bit hard to judge. The middle section sounds nice though...

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 OST — The Time of Opportunities Trailer Theme

The Zone is about opportunities. Which will you take and which will you leave behind? This theme from the last trailer will help you decide.

Aaand another delay, now they are claiming Nov 20...

They even released a "release delayed"-video.

To all our players,

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will now be launching on November 20, 2024, moving from the previously planned date of September 5, 2024. We know you might be tired of waiting, and we truly appreciate your patience. These two additional months will give us the chance to fix more “unexpected anomalies” (or simply “bugs”, as you call them).

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is shaping up to be everything we envisioned, with the launch nearly here, and we are incredibly excited to share more with you. To give you a taste of what’s coming, we’re thrilled to announce the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Developer Deep Dive video, which will be released on Xbox media channels on August 12. This detailed update will include exclusive interviews, lots of new footage, and a full video walkthrough of one of the game quests. We can’t wait for you to see it and get a comprehensive understanding of how the game looks and plays.

We are always grateful for your ongoing support and understanding — it means the world to us. We’re just as eager as you are to finally release the game and for you to experience it for yourself.

With love and gratitude,
GSC GAME WORLD

At least they were funny and self-aware about it.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.

Being self-aware while doing the thing you're making fun of has to be the highest tiers of redditism. Reminds me of the ""trailer"" to outerworlds 2.

Yeah you are not delaying your release by two months, for the 6th time, because there are a few minor bugs to fix. You do that if you have a borderline unplayable game, like what CDPR did.
