Have indie game developers heard of the colour spectrum? Why is brown the only colour they seem to think exists?
If brown isn't the only color that exists then why does "people of color" mean brown people??? Checkmate.ThulsaDoomer wrote: ↑ February 26th, 2026, 21:29Have indie game developers heard of the colour spectrum? Why is brown the only colour they seem to think exists?

Know what aesthetic I'm really enjoying in gaming right now? I'm really enjoying low-poly, blurry texture games with blurry, analog video filters layered on top. If there's one thing we need more of it's more, nay, lots more low-poly blurry texture games with analog video filters on top. And they should all be very scary. I think every other game on Steam should be a low-poly, blurry textured scary game with an analog video filter on top.
Chonkem, how are you posting on Tweed's account???Tweed wrote: ↑ February 26th, 2026, 22:05Know what aesthetic I'm really enjoying in gaming right now? I think this looks great btw
characters could look better but I like the environments a lot
also would up the resolution of the 3d stuff in the background, looks too jaggy, but I think it uses a custom software renderer

what zoomers think old games looked like because their only experience with them is watching people play them on youtube from a phone:

That can't be right. A game from 22 years ago looks like Kirby's Adventure.
