The antagonist literally hypnotized all of his "followers" and turned one of the most liked characters from the original game into a Rape Puppet. Nobody is playing this thinking "wow, I love **** now."
people were already fagging out about Miquella, going on about the repulsive 'bussy' **** and all that, this DLC just makes them double down on it

Yes. We're terrible human beings, and we admit it.

If you want to go down a rabbit hole, Wikifeet is your friend here.

EDIT: I just want to be clear that the Miquella ******-feet ******** is gross/****** up tho.

That DLC is the first time I'm skipping an entry for good. Elden Ring had enough flaws that I was willing to look at spoilers on the content of the DLC before making my mind on whether to buy and play or skip and god, this DLC looks like complete ********. More dragon fight/ulcerated tree spirit/etc copy pasta, more wide open world that is even emptier than the main game meant to waste your time lookig at your horse *** while you try to find "content" to complete. I laughed at a comment I saw talking about how many times the reward for doing a dungeon/cave/whatever isn't even something like a weapon or armor but yet another cookbook to craft **** you will never bother to craft.

The whole idea behind the power progression stuff in that DLC being scattered in the open rather than being a reward for doing things is a head scratcher too. It seems most of those things that help you gain back attack power/defense are just lying around and not given as a reward for fighting bosses or experiencing any challenge. Just a matter of forcing you to spend time running around grabbing **** in the world. Why does this even exist? yet another mechanic invented solely to push you into watching torrent's butt for hours because that's what the fun of souls games is about, right?

And the entire DLC being about a gayfaggot brainwashing his brother to have gay sex with him while possessing the corpse of another brother..
Say what you will about Dark Souls 3, but Gael was an epic way to end the worst entry of the series, while this.. is something I am not even willing to experience myself.

FromSoft lost their mind.

I think we owe a lot more to Sony Japan Studio than we do Miyazaki and From Software, with regards to the more "grounded" and appealing aesthetics of Demon's Souls. I looked into the development history of the game, and it seems to have originated at Sony, with From Software being hired on as the development partner. But as the project started going downhill, Miyazaki was brought on and he's the guy that turned the gameplay into what we know today. Takeshi Kaji, the producer of the original Demon's Souls, was the primary figurehead during development but sadly he died in 2013. Even getting a special thanks in the credits of the PS5 version.

Even the whole idea for Bloodborne years later, came from Japan Studio. Without them it wouldn't even exist. This had me comparing the differences in tone and aesthetics between From Software-only "Souls" games and their collaborative ones, and there is a tangible difference. At least in Demon's Souls, you didn't have nearly the amount of wacky anime nonsense you get in Elden Ring. It was a lot more reserved, and the game has stood the test of time because of it. You have to suspend your disbelief with a lot of the stuff that happens in Elden Ring, it gets pretty laughable pretty quick.

new copypasted asset flip souls-slop from Miyazaki, this time exclusively for Switch 2

https://www.fromsoftware.jp/ww/pressrel ... oods_debut
'THE DUSKBLOODS' is a PvPvE title with online multiplayer at its core, where up to 8 players vie for supremacy among themselves and against challenging foes.
so it's not even a singleplayer game. safely skippable.

In terms of graphics? Sekiro looks a lot better. I think it's the constant overcast gray weather in Elden Ring which makes it look like ****, Sekiro had sunlight or nighttime and it generally looked fine.

It has morning, afternoon, and night + different weather effects. I don't remember anything about overcast gray weather, maybe because of the graphic setting.
