I think I'll replay the Dragon Age series, as a different class to mix it up, when I have time that is.

Also, I'm watching Asmon play this and it's basically all horribly written cutscenes. He's barely played at all in almost 2 hours so far.

wtf when did it change name from dreadwolf?
When they realized solas is a white male
White male as bad guy is fine. For whatever reason they decided to change the conflict entirely. These new two people are the bad guys, Solas was a box to check at the beginning because their epilogue dlc to Inquisition foolishly set him up as the main bad guy for the next one.

I read up on/watched the spoilers for this game (because let's be honest, I'll never play this mess) and it's hilariously bad:
► Show Spoiler
Not a spoiler but holy hell, the current year writing is ******* out of control in this game. The videos on YouTube are the stuff of nightmares. I really couldn't stomach seeing this desecration any longer.

What's up with the floating spaceship in the intro of Dragon Age: The Veilguard? I don't remember something like that being in any of the Dragon Age games. Is that something invented in this game?

BG3 started like that and was a success therefore they felt a need to copy. Show off until player goes past the refund window

The paladin wasn't black like in the remake, he was brown. Closer to a north african or Arab.

He's straight up congoid in the remake.

devs see people complain about open worlds and they think what people want is a return to games that are just hallways. Basically, they just went back 15 years:
Image
The one on the right is EVERY halo connecting hallway (just the shape, without cutscenes).
I started making fun of it when I played the game.
You knew you were entering a new area if the hallway jogged left or right for a bit before going back on the same course.
The reason was while it was originally designed for the PC, the Xbox was so weak and slow, with so little RAM, that they had to slow the player down and obstruct his view so he couldn't see the game loading ahead and unloading behind.

This got so bad by the 360 era that Deus Ex Invisible war, and especially Thief Deadly Shadows had to have all the levels cut into ridiculous small chunks to fit in the pathetic memory of the console.
There are levels in T:DS where you can't see down some hallways because of an archway with swirling blue mist that is the change level portal (mods later fixed this on the PC by stitching the levels back together into a whole).

Well, it looks like it may have peaked for today (relative to other games it isn't increasing inline) not quite making 85k.
Capture.PNG
Also looks to be dropping if you check the actual store count from the page.
Capture2.PNG

So I seriously doubt it will hit 100k today, and really not likely tomorrow. I think a few days in the 70's and it will begin to decline into oblivion.

Unless there is some miracle of players popping on this weekend, this game is done. Certified absolute, complete and utter flop.

Though the ****** are in serious cope right now and continue to project like the people calling the game a failure are some how "coping" with the success.

They really are mentally ill.

The more I look at this outfit the worse it gets. I don't understand how anyone in their right mind can look at this and think it's good character design.
Unless this creation is a gift from an unwashed ******, since they lack any sense of moderation or fashion when it comes to any and all visuals. Including irl.
Isabella's outfit is similar and similarly bad.
