Get the feeling that reviewers don't quite understand what a 70/100 is
Selection_002.webp
This is so ******* annoying. It all comes from the notion that the maximum score is the standard everyone should get. It's also prevalent in schools with both kids and parents expecting As and considering Bs and Cs as failures.

A game set in Telvinter could be really great. Imagine the conflict between Zealot Chantry VS a Pagan Misantropic Magocracy. Sadly will be Forspoken tier ****. You can't even use blood magic in this **** game. They replaced it with the worst necromancy in any game.

As you can guess, I'm not from us, so I need explanation.
It is something that has been done in various ways throughout history to shape public opinion.

I don't care where you live, it is being done to you as well. It can be anything from how they control the news, what elements of entertainment, societal norms they promote, etc...

Healthy nations will often promote good standards in its public, while others will promote a means to develop control or manipulate opinion.

Enemy nations will use such to influence other countries to cause disruptions, strife and conflict.

Why are they pushing it so hard? From what I've seen of it (watching my brother-in-law play it) it's the most mediocre Ubisoft-style open world sandbox. Hardly anything about it was novel or interesting.

Tabletop nerds, videogame nerds, book nerds weren't left alone, they were bullied, sometimes till suicide.
And that's a good thing. Look how every single one of those niches have been destroyed by being normalized.
This is so stupid statement that I'm not gonna even commenting on it. If you think that normalization of a hobby killed it, than you will never understand anything what I say. It is all **** fault, by the way.
Yes, of course normiefication kills niche interests. There's literally no example in history where this hasn't happened. The concept of "regression toward the mean" is very clearly and measurably demonstrated over and over again.

gamalytic's prediction on Veilguard the moment prior to release, I want to see how accurate it is

I think it's going to be on the higher end of their sales prediction, fwiw. ~450k.

Yes it is, because it's what has directly caused the "games for modern audiences" crisis.

First five minutes are up. 89 players detected for now on SteamDB, but I expect it to explode upwards. Do you think it will likely be around 50,000 to 100,000 at maximum? Or lower, or higher?

I mean what is the point of programming nations in this way:
But products of your culture says otherwise! Judging by movies, cartoons and news of this period, you westoids bullied random people to death with no big reason, just for fun. Tabletop nerds, videogame nerds, book nerds weren't left alone, they were bullied, sometimes till suicide.

Why us made movies, cartoons and other media about bullying nerds to death? What was the point of this type of programming?

Absolutely can't see that going above 100k. Around 50k max, I went with 22k before, but probably way too optimistic

Wait till late tonight. It is early morning here in the West Coast. Most people are at work right now and it is Halloween today so people will be either taking their kids trick or treating or going to Halloween parties today. Numbers may go up later tonight.

The player count is now at 1,829. Seems like their downloads finished and people are now starting to be able to play the game.

First reviews are also in.
