"She is the only daughter of Yue Buqun and his wife, a jewel in their palms. She has a pure and kind nature. She is simple, innocent, and lively. Her martial arts are mediocre, but her status is noble. She is deeply loved by her parents and fellow disciples. She originally had a deep affection for Linghu Chong. However, due to a series of misunderstandings, she gradually distances herself from him. Later, she is deceived by Lin Pingzhi's sweet words and eventually marries him. On their wedding night, she discovers Lin Pingzhi's true colors and is heartbroken. She is eventually killed by Lin Pingzhi."

"He is an orphan raised by Yue Buqun since childhood. He is the eldest disciple of the Mount Hua Sect. He is cheerful, optimistic, witty, and humorous. He doesn't care about worldly affairs and values freedom. He is righteous and kind-hearted and is willing to help others. He is a martial arts prodigy. However, he does not like to be restrained by rules. He is playful and mischievous. He often violates the sect rules, causing Yue Buqun to be displeased. Later, he is punished to think about his mistakes on Mount Simian. He unexpectedly obtains the inheritance of Dugu Qiubai and his martial arts greatly improve. He is eventually expelled from the Mount Hua Sect by Yue Buqun."
