It's one of her official outfit, I'm afraid,

I’m shocked they still keeping the game on life support after being a colossal failure.

Consider they already wasted millions of dollars making Suicide Squad, firmly believing it was going to be a smash hit.

I want to be that fly on the wall on how they convince themselves that implementing the worst ideas possible for a superhero game was going to sell like gangbusters.

I’m not sure what people were expecting from Suicide Squad, only to end up disappointed once the retail version dropped. Just a slightly more polished Arkham Knight? The formula had already grown stale by then. There was no real story continuity to begin with; they could have stopped after City and moved on to something else unrelated to comics.

It's not even close to being as good as a "slightly more polished Arkham Knight"

While that's true, I don't think psychic_dream is saying that it was.

But I think most people would have been fine with a game that was just as good as Arkham Knight with no continuity at all to the Arkham games

True. Psychic_dream is saying that people shouldn't have expected a game that's as good as Arkham Knight based on the promotional material and that they have themselves to blame for being disappointed when the game didn't meet their expectations.

What I meant was that customers shouldn’t have set their hopes so high based only on the developer’s reputation and promo material, but @logincrash put it well.

I’ll add that if Arkham Knight has proved anything, it’s that public perception changes quickly and easily over time.

When Knight first launched, it was panned for its repetitive Batmobile sections, a not so stellar story and boss fights, and a terrible pc port.

If it were released today in the same state, most would treat it like the many dull and unfinished games released nowadays. Instead we pretend that event from a decade ago never happened, and it’s now seen as a graphical showcase, even compared favorably to recent broken releases.

Well, it always looked good. All the bugs and the ****** story and the ******* annoying Battank sections don't detract from how beautiful the game looks, even if they did abandon the initial art direction in favour of the ****** 2010s advanced warfare Michael Bay Transformers overdesigned look for everything from the Batsuit to the Batmobile. Wasn't the only game to suffer this fate either.
Graphically, Arkham Knight blows anything modern out of the water because they knew how to play to their strengths with baked-in lighting and no ****** Temporal Anti-Aliasing. Nowadays nearly everything is made by pajeets in Unreal Engine 5 with ******* awful real-time lighting and relying on upscaling. So, not only is it unoptimized trash, it also looks like utter ****.

Why anyone even want to play as Joker's slut instead of some superhero from JL? That's just stupid.
