I cashed out of Star Citizen last year, after I had backed the game 10 years prior and never got the singleplayer campaign I paid for. Bought a JRPG and had fun beating that.

I will see it when I believe it. This game might have a chance so long as it does not try to replicate the absurd scope creep of SC, but in that regard touting it as "Russian Star Citizen" is likely to set people up for disappointment if they are expecting that humongous scale.
