I put a few hours into this last night and liked it so much that I ended up buying it this morning. It's on sale for $12 at the time of this writing.

It's basically an SRPG, but with some map exploration and a bunch of guild management. The art style is pretty decent, the girls are hot, and there is 0 poz. No DEI detected in this game. If you happen to end up with a character that has darker skin, you can even customize them to be white because we all know that white is right! Seems to be made by a single dev. I think he deserves your money.

I've been playing this for a while. It's a pretty good guild management RPG. It has a few balance issues, but the dev keeps making tweaks every few days to fix these. Melee characters are incredibly strong and the easiest to build out. Ranged and magic users can be good, but their later game abilities aren't as good as you might think. Some characters, like Arcane Knights, require efficient use of all stats, so they are best created from talented characters.

The UI is much better than it was even a couple of months ago.

Technically, there is a potential for some poz as characters can develop romantic attachments to each other. Homos are a reduced chance, but still possible. I asked the dev a while back if you the ability to cancel all romantic attachments between guild members is a possible update (after all, if I was running a mercenary guild I don't want fraternization). I don't know if he's actually going to make that change.

It seems to be made in Unity. Maybe that value is moddable.

Edit: apparently all you have to do is edit an ini file to prevent same-sex preferences from happening.

Yes, but there's some RNG involved. Sometimes a negative trait might be removed on level up. Some can be removed with specific quests.

I've put 20 hours into this now and it's still a lot of fun. I have no idea how long the story is. Hopefully I'm not too far yet, because I still want plenty more

I just started. The art is less than impressive but serviceable. I'll cut some slack because its an indie developer and he made an amazing game. I remember playing Darkest Dungeon and wishing it was . . . well exactly what this is.

I hate teleporting assasins rolling random crits, its killed 2 of my favorite members now. Literally only 2 deaths so far are bandit maniacs teleporting and then landing 5% crits instakilling a squishy

I just keep donating to the priest every time I find him, am I being scammed or will he ever actually help me out? At this point its a sunk cost fallacy but I'm starting to think its just put their to mess with people who expect returns

I meant the roaming priest that asks you for increasingly more money to get drunk with whos a random encounter in adventures. Never used the church donation either it sounded useless honestly. Got scammed by a priest either way so what do I know

NG+ was added yesterday and is applicable to old saves apparently, think I might go back and try it out.
