easy to run is the key thing.

there's a reason CS 1.6 was so insanely popular in Eastern Europe and South America in particular - **** could run on a toaster compared to Call of Duty or Battlefield (and Halo wasn't even much of a thing since most people didn't have Xbox to begin with).

Asians won't touch anything that doesn't have waifus plastered all over it. Europe absolutely dominated the player count in terms of percentage back during CS2 beta (nearly 3/4 of all players), and the CS esports scene is relatively tiny in China compared to **** like Crossfire or even Valorant.
