In my opinion, in a game where your character's *** is gonna be front and center of the screen most of the time, and if you choose to play a male character when there is a female option, you might be homosexual.

Think of a game like WoW, where the camera is positioned at a 3rd person view behind your character's ***. If I'm gonna be staring at my character's *** while running around, you bet I'm gonna create the hottest female character i can possibly create, and wear the most skimpy clothes.

If you prefer to play a male character in such a setting, that's perfectly fine, and It's okay to admit you like staring at men's asses, but let's not beat around the bush here
"the third person camera is just looking at the characters *** the whole time!" Do you people who make this argument get aroused every time you go out on the street to walk somewhere? So many asses in front of you in the Pakistani train cars, I just wish they were all beautiful women sirs. Woah actually when I see someone from a front facing camera angle they should also be women so I can see boobs too :smug: , I'm gonna coom just thinking about it. In fact when you look into a mirror or see your reflection all the time you'd rather see a hot woman than a gross man since women are hotter right? :)

Playing as a female character is bad if the female character in question isn't attractive, or if you do so to self-insert as that character. Most gamers are normal, hotblooded men who were never afraid to play as Lara Croft back in the day. Why?, because she's attractive. "Simple as".

We really didn't need an 11 page thread to dissect this topic, it's answered just that easily. If you feel the sight of a beautiful woman would turn you into a gay crossdresser, do yourself the favour and avoid all entertainment products. Because you could not deal with it otherwise.

What about purposely picking a female character in a horror game as it makes it more scary due to women being weaker?

Pac-Man was designed to attract women to the "dirty and smelly" arcades of 1980. To accomplish this, Toru Iwatani chose a subject for his game that he knew women to be fond of: eating sweets. According to Iwatani, "Girls love to eat desserts!"

"There had been no games aimed at women, so I thought...what do women like doing? Hm. They like eating", which led to "Pac-Man". (This was evidently a long time before cancel culture became a thing!). The "Pac" of "Pac-Man" is Japanese onomatopoeia for opening and shutting the mouth, or munching. And while that was obviously a sexist comment, if you've ever had the misfortune to watch Japanese television, you'll find stuff about food absolutely everywhere. It's a national obsession, and I think it's fair to say that women are even more obsessive about it than men.
Pacman is a female character confirmed.

Technically this only confirms that ******** play female characters, not that everyone who plays a female character is a ******. This part was funny, though:
Managers at Larian Studios credited transgender and nonbinary employees for improving the character creator that contributed to the success of the role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3. One of this year’s most celebrated releases, the game was praised for its customizability and branching story lines that capture the spontaneity of tabletop Dungeons & Dragons games.

“We definitely learned that we needed to be very open-minded and not restrict ourselves,” said Alena Dubrovina, an art director at Larian who oversaw the character creator. “A huge design pillar was allowing players to live their ultimate fantasies.”

An important step toward that goal was the decision to include genitals among the physical traits that could be customized, with different shapes available.
Gender expression makes little difference to the game’s narrative, which some transgender players celebrated. “Those decisions are just for us,” Vind said. “You choose those options, and everyone will treat your character normally.”
Ah yes, not restrict ourselves, except when it comes to designing the face, which is one of the main features in a character creator. You can adjust the genitals but not the face.

FF14 is a bad game so you could just quit
Sadly I need something to waste time with in between good games and the next new action combat MMO. I played the **** out of Tera Online before FF but that game died and I had to start something else.

Every new MMO replacement contender has bombed and even the next action MMO I looked forward to like 5 years ago is dead on arrival and I won't be touching that, it being Blue Protocol.
What do you like about MMOs that you need to play one?

Play Dungeons and Dragons Online
Tried playing dnd online. Met so many strange people will mental illnesses I didn't want to deal with. How do you find normal people to play with?

First you need to be on the more popular servers. When I get home I'll double check and let you know what server I'm on. Then I tend to push hard for quick(ish) dungeon completion. So that attracts other like-minded gamers, I also don't chat that much tbh. Maybe I just like DDO, but I find it has plenty to do "solo" or with PUGs. Don't tell anyone your a woman. Many of the D&D crowd are psudes who self brainwashed progressive ********. Iy could be your hours too. I tend to play late at night when the Asians and slavs are online. Less **** at late hours.

In work of fiction, be it fantasy book, video games, anime or TV shows, women are interested in characters that are similar to themselves, whereas men are more trying to ape what they find cool within a character. Plenty of example for such behavior.
A pretty good example was for the infamous League of Legend ASSFAGGOTS, were the dev realized that while they were basically no physical correlation for men with their main champion, something like 90% of the female player base only play female champion, and preferably one they share superficial physical resemblance, like hair color.

The same behavior can be observed in children too. When playing with toys girls will self-insert while boys will roleplay as the character.

Females' default mode is solipsism, males tend to enjoy things for what they are.

It's a good thing women are nice to look at or they'd be in trouble

They use avatars of attractive females, not ugly misshapen freaks.
No, they usually use idealized cartoon versions of themselves to fool others into thinking they aren't disgusting looking beings, see left:

Obviously, this is just a meme, but from what I remember of TNG and his brief Voy appearances, Barclay always chose to roleplay a better, more confident version of himself when on the holodeck. I have to think the same "holodicition" storyline, in Nu-Trek would be written as a dude using the holodeck to ***** out. I can already see the cold open of the episode "subverting expectations" by having him go from female back to male after saying "Computer, end program". The only good news is that the episode has a 48% chance of ending early.

The councilor would immediately break privacy ethics and inform the captain (while whispering and crying), and the solution to the episode would be the captain using the holodeck to gender swap.
