I don't know what this genre of rebellious art is called but it's gay and cringe. Is this all that people who worship ******* can come up with? Tape and smoke?

Donβt forget the chavy British accents and the knockoff Nikes.
Hopefully this will be the next Concord. Sony doesn't deserves to have a break.
This **** aint coming out dawg
I hope it does come out for the sheer amount of enjoyment we would have at seeing it burn, since I reckon that the Concord noise may already have faded out by then.
Supposedly there is still enthusiasm internally for this game, despite what happened with Concord, but everyone knows it'll meet a very similar fate. Even if it's moderately more successful, it still won't be enough to break even let alone make a profit. Every single one of these live service slop games is a day late and a dollar short, if indeed Concord entered development 8 years ago that would put it right at the time Overwatch was first released and exploded in popularity. And by the time these hacks were able to make a playable "game", the ship had sailed and nobody wanted the used diaper they were selling.
The silver lining, for Sony executives at least, is that they get to pin the blame on previous decisions made by others. "It wasn't us, it was Jim Ryan!" etc. The same thing happened with Warner Bros and their DC movies. It was a revolving door of executives that each had their own master plan that their successors did not take kindly to, so the DCEU ended up being a dozen films that had very little cohesive direction. Same is the case with PlayStation. The fallout of these games flopping will be seen within the next 2-5 years.
There's some kind of cosmic irony to "inclusion" meaning video games now take 8 years to develop and therefore the cultural zeitgeist has already moved by the time they release.
The good is that they are creating new IPs, not infecting established IPs with Frankfurt ideology and will waste a lot of ESG bigcorpo money. the bad is that the taxpayer money and worker pension funds will be wasted in ESG crap.

SW: Outlaws is going to be declared a flop in a week or two.
Failgame is a given. There's Dragon Age: Deadname, though I imagine it will do marginally better. Avowed seems to be shaping to be a neat flop, as are Fable and Marathon.
Then there's that game with the disgusting pajeeta from the Witcher TV show, Uknown 9.
2024 was a bad year for gamedevs, 2025 is going to be even worse, and I couldn't be happier.
