For anyone thinking that what is happening with Larian might not be a problem, I wish to remind of Bethesda and the horse armor DLC. Skyrim's Creation Club and then who knows what else. If they start the "We heard you modders!" ********, it will soon spiral into some sort of DRM made to specifically prevent some mods from working, or who knows what other tech. I know very little of how these things work, but I know they will jump at an oportunity to enforce compelled speech and "the right thinking" if they find a way. It will be something that modders can find a way to remove in the future, I am sure, but it will just be yet another battle, and, reminder, that in the UK some people were arrested for tweets or whatever it was. It is but a step, but it cannot go back once taken.
