What I did was to combine the powers of an outdated mod that unlocks NPC options for the character creator with a conflicting mod that allows origin characters to be modified freely, and then turning off the transformation that Wyll was subject to, using the Script Extender console (using Osi.RemoveTransforms("S_Player_Wyll_c774d764-4a17-48dc-b470-32ace9ce447d"), for reference). I could then modify and respec normie-Wyll, adjusting eyes and hair and so on, and give him the head of devil-Wyll, and make the game - the game not thinking the transformation was in effect - generate a portrait.

I could then use Ninja Ripper 1.7.1 (thank you Ty6) to rip out all active textures from working memory.
I can't get NinjaRipper 2.0.4 to work at all.
I got 1.7.1 to seemingly work without crashing but it didn't rip any files on command.

I've disabled Steam overlay but it still seems to activate. The option to toggle it is greyed out for BG3 anyway.
Is there something I'm missing here? Did you use the Steam Version or GOG (/standalone)?

Ah, it was just what was on the NinjaRipper website FAQ-- to turn off any overlays.
Okay, so if it's not that then I really have no clue what could be causing it to fail. I'll keep trying with the earlier one though, that seemed to have more success.
It's not the Dx11 issue though, I always use Dx11.

Hi. The facial expressions for this seem a bit off; he grimaces a lot and shows too much teeth (though it feels like theres some sort of clipping). Is that less pronounced in the wylls of torill version?

Yeah its a known issue. I've actually gathered enough modding experience now to fix it... one day I will. Meanwhile enjoy Wylls of Toril.

btw. Is it possible to make a mod that Wyll turns completly blind if you give him the fake eye from the swamp hag? Sadly the game wont let you do that last time I tried. Then you can play him as a blind monk with this mod here.

I managed to get it all working. Apparently I needed to up the "priority" when creating the .pak in order for everything to be replaced properly. I set the priority to 11 and the models and all the replacement .DDS-files seem to work.
