I didn't cheat, you just suck at video games if you think that RE2 no save run is hard or you probably never played it.

I really have to do a few runs in these games again. Maybe I'll get a few roms of the RE's I haven't played, and add games like Parasyte Eve and Dino Crisis which I still haven't played either. Anything to keep in mind while going back to these old RE titles?

This character had the Necronomicon, which gives you the ability to cast spells at one level higher than normal, and to cast spells at level IV instead of III, where level III is the normal upper limit. The Necronomicon doubles the amount of shock taken from spell casting, lowers your stealth, and has a chance to alert nearby enemies of your presence. Spells cast at level IV have additional effects, like Darkbolt causing aoe explosions, and Azathoth's Gaze causing enemies to become conflicted (causes them to view any creature as their enemy).
