The Spiderman IP ownership issue was resolved so they don't need to go through with the total replacement plan. They probably still want to.

Does anyone know if there's an anti-woke mod for the PC version yet? These get removed in nexus mods so not sure whereas I can check, googling doesn't yield much.

Have they made a mod to let you free roam as Venom yet? Only reason I was interested in this was Venom and they ****** out and only let you play as him for one crummy freaking mission!

So the Saudi Arabian version of the game released on PS5 has side quests and homo flags&murals removed in them, does anyone know of anyway to activate that codepath on PC?

Edit: I'm gonna pirate the game today and see if I can find some way to activate it. My thinking is that it has to be just a flag set in the code to not launch the side quests and switch the flags as anything else would probably be too much work for the studio.

Edit 2: if anyone knows of the original author of Spider-Man 2018 gay flag removal mod that would be great, I remember him saying he did not edit any of the game files he just set the locale of the game to be the Middle Eastern version.

It still has all the woke stuff in the main story unfortunately, it just removes the overt homosexuality prevalent in the world and side quests. (Gay homecoming date side quest, Danika podcast I think? and all the various *** flags)

Yeah, that makes sense unfortunately. Side stuff isn't too important so changes can be made but the woke stuff in the main story is the core of the game. But I'd still say that Spider Man 1 & 2 are good games when you are not forced to watch cutscenes and railroaded stuff. Just mod everything that is too gay and ugly.

The worst part of Spiderman 1 is when you're not playing as Spiderman, they insisted on it for the second game because they hate their audience like they said in the articles after release.
