A furry is in a tizzy because I made a remark about how having no story can be better than having one, because it means less opportunities for commies to promote globohomo in games. Somehow he got the impression I wanted stories in games to be banned or something.

I like both boomer shooters without much story and games like half life or fear. There was one time i absolutely loathed the game for having too much story, cutscenes and walking simulator sections. It was Wolfenstein TNO. Such fine shooting mechanics and they wasted more than half of the game on soapy ****. And it appears the sequel was even worse.

ME1 combat got reworked in the legendary edition, it's good now.
