Morrowind Multiplayer (Tweed killed all of the NPCs)

The game shares quest progress between all players so the plan is to have scheduled sessions so one guy doesn't finish everything by himself. Try not to kill story essential NPCs because I don't want to have to edit JSON files to resurrect them.
F2 hides/shows the chat window. Y lets you send messages.
Watermelon react this post to show interest and I'll @ you before the server goes up.
If you want to make sure you've set everything up properly, message me and I'll run the server for you to connect to.


Installation guide

1. Acquire and install The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game Of The Year Edition. Do a fresh install if you have a modded version already.

Hidden Content

This board requires you to be registered and logged-in to view hidden content.

2. Run the OpenMW installer. You will need to point it towards your Morrowind installation folder if it isn't autodetected.

3. Extract TES3MP to its own folder (not inside your Morrowind or OpenMW folder). This will be the only folder you need to worry about from now on.

4. That's it. You can run "tes3mp-browser.exe" to bring up the server list when it goes live.

Assuming I can get this to work, either a generic whyte Nord KANG or a young Dunmer lad who was raised in the Empire all his life, but gets sent to Morrowind and eventually turns on the imperialist, American globohomo piggies after some time in the Legion. Eventually becoming the prophesied hero, the great Nerevarine, who chooses to wipe the slate clean and restore tradition (i.e literal demon worship and skooma chugging).

If we're doing the main quest I imagine it'll be a group effort but I guess for guilds we could draw straws for who gets to do what depending on how many people there are since quest progressed is still synced.

I'll be disappointed if there isn't at least one guy rushing the best gear and levitating over everybody else while chucking AoE spells at them.

I run Endeavour OS on my PC, and unfortunately the Github download simply doesn't run for some reason. I attempted to use the version found on the AUR, but it was out-of-date and thus not compatible anymore.
