If it's for voice model, with how Wyll looks right not in this mod I keep thinking about Cullen Rutherford from DAI.
Or male Hawke from DA2.
Those both are big games so in my mind I assume it's easy to train ai model with it?

I can't remember if they were or not, but try to Pick someone with a posh English accent, instead of a regular English one.
Victors clap when others succeed; Losers feel every spotlight as a personal bleed.
I was thinking Cullen because he is a Knight-Captain and his voice carried some of that authority with it throughout the game. It's why I thought it would be a good fit for Wyll, since despite his noble upbringing, he clearly is more about fighting and protecting people, so his "polished" manner faded on him a little.
Still, if we want something softer, Solas might work better.

Solas likely wouldn't work too well, as he has a Welsh accent, but if the AI is only going to copy the sound of the voice while retaining the accent of the original voice being replaced, it may not be an issue.
Using Cullen's VA would be funny because he got canceled by his tumblr fangirls.
What. What for? Is he too white or something?
He saw basically every other American voice actor/game developer on social media be political so he did it too. Except, woops, he supported Trump.
Basically, fans of Cullen & his VA got to experience what non-liberals experience anytime they check the social media of nearly any other developer.
I have a lot of respect for professionals that make absolutely zero political statements like Henry Cavil(? never heard of him making any, anyways.)

Wow, I didn't think I can like Cullen even more. Ramen hair, drug addiction, vanilla plain character and all.
But, seriously, I guess no one can keep their political opinions to themselves. And sure as hell no one can practice the "separate artist from the art" thing.
I wonder if VAs being really vocal about their personalities and views started with the dawn of Critical Role and their cast becoming nuclear popular.

That was the gravest offense according to BioWare fans. The wrongthink was the final nail in the coffin for him. That being said, I heard he did a super cringe thing by "roleplaying" as Cullen during this drama and trying to incite his "Cullenites" to lend him their support or some such. If it wasn't for that detail, I'd be much more sympathetic for him. Luckily though, he is still getting work, such as in Hogwarts Legacy.
Edit: grammar.

Anyone who is a VA is going to be an overly dramatic theater kid, yeah.
Looks like he's being more cocky now, he added a white version lol. I'm surprised it's still up to be honest.
Is this 5D chess? Or some genuine diversity peddler?
He's done a much better job than my new attempt lol. Have to just have to invite him over here and save me some work when he inevitably gets banned lol.
Speaking of:
There's ONE main character that is black (unless you make Tav black) and you can't even accept that....
1 is still more than the 0 most races got.
That Wyll looks like Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kickass main actor).
Still, more believable than some random Chultan becoming a Duke of Baldur's Gate.
(Like the old local families would EVER allow an outsider alien to ascend to the nobility, much less rulership...)

You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.

just hearing there's word "cullenites" makes me cringe
that said, DA:I was and still is a ******* ****, no idea how Cullen escaped his fate becoming a gollum (see his concept "art") while the rest of the characters got uglified to fucks, thanks to one of the devs who decided to make companions this way on purpose. yet potatohead Solas and minecraft block Bull got most loved by 13 yo fanfiction writers, what a ******* joke
@orinEsque I have noticed with the current Wyll his teeth/mouth sometimes act funny when he's talking. Is that fixed in the new version? It's a bit... unsettling

When I get around to finishing it, yes 100%. Main reason I attempted one to begin with.

A Karaturan mage would have been more believable than a bg Duke and his son being Chult.
Humans from Kara-Tur have features like Yoshimo's, right? If that is so, I would be 100% on-board for having Duke Ravenguard be from Kara-Tur. Angry/strict asian father trope (from what I have learned of him in-game so far at least, I have not met him personally yet except from when Orin implants the tadpole in him before Ketheric's boss fight).

*a karaturan mage with proper karaturan last name without "duke" title that doesn't speak/mentions oppression/superiority of one's majestic non-white race

I've never seen a asia-born asian mention oppression.

Yeah BG2 got plenty of black and asian companions and nobody complains because they are believable within the story.
know why they worked? cuz their stories were about goals and deeds, not about their ******* "oppressed" colorful asses. i ******* loved Valygar and Hexxat and not once thought about their **** race. and dare i say i was on a verge of tears after the whole deal with Yoshimo, his story just gave me more determination to smack Irenicus.
This. I can't imagine what some foreigner of alien ethnicity could do that would get them past the base rank of knight or general into actual landed nobility.
"Duke" is a position right below the royal family, and one of high honor and responsibility.
People don't just wander in and get such titled ranks.
"Grand Duke" is even more than that. They're basically the local king of a far region of a kingdom.
That in itself makes no sense in a city-state like Baldur's Gate.
Nothing about that makes sense.
But it was made up by know-nothing WotCees, so it's on brand.

knowing wokes, if Wyll and his family were from karatur they would've done it. wokesters makes anything about race as long as it's not a white character in the focus. cuz apparently race = personality

what's even "better" is that according to wiki Ravengard's predecessor was Abdel Adrian, the mary sue of mary sues himself. kinda makes sense why it doesn't make any ******* sense lol
Lol, this is "the internet is a series of tubes" level of wrong.
It's fractally wrong: wrong when viewed as a whole, and examining any component of it shows an equal level of wrongness.

Nah bro Hexxat is unforgivable, you get to have a hottie as a companion all the quest then get, well, her.

Yeah, this is ********. Whose personal game character with the idiotic name got upgraded to be the canon hero?
