At least the majority seem like biological women.

Also, would.

Not only are modern developers terrible, but Microsoft themselves have a track record of internal meddling and mismanagement. They run every developer they own into the ground, no exceptions. Even the ones they build from the ground up like 343.

They purchased Obsidian long after their best talent left anyway, so whatever happens- happens. I'd be shocked if Avowed is even playable at launch.

Witch nose, giant belt to create the illusion of a waist, horned black glasses, dyed hair, combover and artificial curls to hide how thin her hair is. 2/10 would not bang.

Think this is her, off the obsidian careers page. Scripter/level designer by the looks of it.

Obsidian is a shell of what it was in 2010. They ditched Chris Avellone and other black isle/interplay OGs, and the worst part, also fell to woke politics as shown in the above picture. I don't give a flying **** about graphics, but I know gameplay will also be ****.

If this was a new studios first game I would give it a pass. However coming from obsidian this looks like hot garbage compared to FNV

I wonder what cope they will wheel out when this ends up being a 6/10 totally forgotten after a week flop like The Rick and Morty Worlds.

i'm a bit of a sucker for AAA slop, so if not for Wolfenstein 2 being colossally ****, I would've been hyped for this.

At least it takes place in 1934, which means it's probably won't feature nazis as the generic bad guys (i.e. they'll go for more exotic antagonists, like in the Temple of Doom).

Based on the trailer alone I'm really getting Dark Messiah M&M vibe out of this - simple and linear but with fun combat. No Game of the year material but it might be worth one playthrough.

Reliably half assing a game near to release:

It's gotta be demoralizing a bit to work at Obsidian and see memorabilia of projects like New Vegas that the company has to use to get people interested in their games all around them whilst knowing that most of the people responsible for that project are ******* gone.

Edit: Also I see they're still going for an "over saturated make my eyes bleed" art style

Certainly looks like AA budget and very similar to outer worlds. Very generic enemies. They should really release mod tools at least for such a game. Certainly nothing amazing in there.

And way too colorful, games like Morrowind felt so great because of Ashstorms and most stuff in Molag Amur was either brown or black. And then you had few more nicer areas.

I don't think showing off a generic sidequest with what appears to be ugly ****** orcs and a sheboon with sub-Oblivion quality VA is really what's gonna sell people on this...
