No Alphabets 7.1 — Baldur's Gate 3

Hello, I'm having issues with the specific mod: NoAlphabetAesthetics. I'm playing this game with a friend and we made sure to have the Exact same Mod load order, using baldurs gate 3 Mod Manager.
I'll attach a screencap of the loadorder, but my friend can launch the game without issues, (all mods working) and yet if I try the same load order my game loads without literally any mod, only when I activate the NoAlphabetAesthetics mod.

we have very similar computers but differ in CPU/motherboard me using amd ryzen 7700X and my friend uses intel I7 13700KF.
same game, steam same patch.

Important Update:
Due to your and others user reports and diagnosis (thank you @PsychoBoy90 ) I was able to figure out the problem!
The new version of NoAlphabets BeardedAylin is now up!

@uncleDolan Delete the old beard mod and install the new one. It will fix your problem. Tell your friend to do so as well.

Isn't it lovely how this series of mods brings people from different countries together? We have an English version, a French version, a Russian version...

So many people from different countries getting together to make the fantasy middle ages look less like modern day New York.

Edit: I made an interesting observation. While a significant number of people are screeching about the mod (because of course they are) there are a surprising number of people in support of it. Also some in support of the complete No Alphabets mod.

I did not expect a fourth camp: Some people on Nexus seemed to be annoyed with everyone's favorite ****** tiefling Nocturne. There are a few comments asking if that part can also be uploaded separately (On Nexus I doubt it because that would probably be too obvious for the power tripping jannies).

It's an interesting reaction. It seems that while ****** sideshows like the circus leader are tolerated, having it shoved into your face so blatantly in a main character quest seems a bridge too far for some people.

The LGB community does not like the T.

Can confirm. There is actually a movement that demands "the snip" of TQA+ from LGB for all the **** Ts are doing.
Also, the Ts were always leeches that hijacked us.

On the one hand, it looks dumb and unrealistic, on the other hand in a game full of questionable armor designs, what's one more? And it's such a minor detail.

I found my way here because I had been regularly looking for mods to get rid of all the crap in this game.

I had preordered it and trusted the people making it. Boy, was that a mistake.

They wouldn't let me refund it of course for trying a few characters through the tutorials and alt tabbing out of it in early access.

I'm immensely appreciative of the work you've done here, and know that the time spent/hourly rate involved is a big deal.

Oddly enough, I found it because that meltdown article from that super weirdo came up on my radar. I go through their garbage too to see what's coming.

My wife liked Skyrim (and is terrible at other games) so I wanted to play this with her, and I think with your changes I can now.


To contribute to some of the thoughts and discussion here, I think we might see these clowns try to create or pass legislation to equate modding games like this with burning rainbow flags (you can burn an American one!). Should be interesting to watch and I think if the paid review mags find out, it will get a fair amount of attention.

Also, you said left out alphabets can be mentioned that you've forgotten? I haven't seen Lakrissa on the list, so i mention Lakrissa. She's the female Tiefling from the grove who makes the bet with you that if they all get to Baldur's Gate alive, she wil give you coin. She also very obviously flirts with the payer, a lot, but when you get to Act 3, she won't pay up, nor kiss you if you've flirted back.

She does however, out of nowhere end up in a relationship with Alfira, the Tiefling Bard. You can meet them in Act 3 on in-, and on top of Elfsong Tavern and end up together if both survive until Act 3.

So... yeah, there's that.

She's actually one of the exceptions. Reason being she keeps it vague and doesn't outright tell you she's a lesbian unless you try to kiss her. I'd rather focus on the blatant "too much information" that npcs you just met offer up openly for no reason.

ahhhhh, i see! Then in that case, how about Droona Schveitz? She's a female dwarf that can be seen mourning in the graveyard in Baldur's Gate in Act 3. She has no real sagnificance, she's an NPC you can simply interact talk to. But they gave her specifically 2 lines saying that her dead lover was a woman too and when you talk to her again, she's not even gonna mention her dead partner again and starts taking about the watch. So by all means, it just feels like another alphabetical character inserted just for the sake of having another one.
